Matt McChesney -- Oh yeah!!!

Thought this was going to be a thread announcing his employment as the new S&C coach.

Fish head.

Create a thread of which the title implying big news only to let me down, haha.

I didn't imply anything. You inferred. I wasn't thinking anything except "that's cool as balls" when I read RK's tweet and decided to post it. It's like getting mad at someone bumping a committed recruit's thread with some new highlights and getting made because you stressed it might have been bumped for bad news/ decommitment.

IM NOT MAD, GOD DAMMIT!

Not sure how I'd feel if McChesney actually did become S&C coach. What kind of training does he have?

Be honest, we ALL wanted to get that same call so we could give the same response.

Honestly, i kind of like that mcchesney is preaching buffs to these kids before they attend our school. He is an extension of the staff, really.

Sounds like he would have been a perfect fit with Forman though.
I'm not doubting his ability to be a solid strength coach (most likely assistant strength coach), but having someone in front of CO's top football talent that bleeds B&G as much as he does, is invaluable to CU.

There's a line when it comes to steering a recruit that way, but Matt can be trusted to answer an inquisitive athlete's questions about CU in-depth and speak about it in a way that makes the kid think "Wow, he really had a special college experience in Boulder." The advantage is in the information Matt can give with a positive slant.

Ge probably makes good money with his gym. Why would he walk from that to take an insecure job that limited what he could say and do?

Because he obviously loves the University of Colorado and he wouldn't have to shut down his gym he just couldn't be as involved.

On the surface, it seems like a good natured jab at CSU. When you really think about it, though, that's a huge advantage for CU with the in-state kids. I doubt Bobo found that comment humorous. I love it!
His company, his rules.
