Guess the Attendance: Cal

Think the dedicated fans that we have need to be on top of this one. Push reminders on social media, invite friends, get unused tickets taken care of. If the AD isn't going to do it, then we should.

Either the athletic department expects huge numbers at this game based on ticket sales, or they are screwing up again and think that just because there isn't football on they will get more people at the game. Why do I say that? Because for all of the five home games I have received texts that allowed me to buy tickets at the top of the circle for 15 bucks a ticket, today I got a text for the Cal game that allows me to buy tickets at the baseline for 40 bucks a pop. Seems like it would be a rather poor decision to increase the deal price by 25 bucks a seat when they can't come close to filling the stadium.
So either 11,064 or 7,523...

I'd guess that's because this game is selling well compared to previous ones. Check out the seat map on CUBuffs.com. Not a ton of tickets left. Students will determine if this game gets over 10,000 though.

GA tickets were $20 today. That's pretty high compared to most games.

Just went on Stubhub to gauge the resell market and it was the highest prices I've seen this year there. Combination of no football and a little bit of buzz surrounding a team that looks more and more like an NCAA tournament squad with each game. 10,001.

The allure of a powder day at virtually ever resort in the state is going to hurt attendance... Wonderful.

I will admit... Snow > Buffs. But I have a freaking problem. It's bad. I'm hoping to pull the double hit by riding in the AM and getting to Boulder by the game time though.

I am planning on getting in to boulder at lunch time, grabbing a sandwich and a pitcher at Half Fast and getting ready for the game. No snow is keeping me away from this game. Hoping a significant portion of the C-Unit shows up to Half Fast to get similarly lubricated.

I hope that the basketball program can get to a point where these factors don't matter. It'll probably take a few sweet-16 appearances to do it.

An infusion of athleticism and/or attitude wouldn't hurt either. I imagine the crowd would be a little more into it if we played with a style similar to UW (at least what they did to us) or had a personality like the Mayor on the team.

This team has some very strong personalities on it if you ask me, and they're usually pretty fun to watch.

A 16-5 NCAA Tournament team entering the home stretch. There's something wrong If at 16-5 and playing on a weekend, we can't draw a near-capacity crowd for a key conference game and one of the top home games of the season. It's beyond time for the hangover from last season to subside with people walking up.

It helps that Tyrone is out. They're pretty thin at point. Singer might need to play all 40 minutes (at altitude).

I'm guessing over 10k show up for this win.

Definitely a blow for Cal, but they've knocked off Arizona and played Utah tough on the road since he's been out. Their young guns have been putting up some big numbers. Still an NCAA Tournament caliber opponent.

CU is not a basketball school yet ... fans are nothing like what I experienced in my time with the ACC ... It is improving but slowly
