Tipoff: 9pm mountain.
TV: FS1
Radio: I don't know, check your local listings! Probably that 760 over in Denver?

UCLA seems on the cusp of calling it a season. Will they throw in the towel or will they play a potential role as burster to our bubble?

Will CU rebound from whatever happened on Wednesday? Luckily I have fully repressed that memory...has our team?

(Hope this is OK to do...I lifted this sort of template directly from Shlder2Shlder. If it's not cool and that creating a game thread is supposed to be left to someone with more interaction on this board, I'm sorry! I just wanna start talking about this game!)

Hard to explain how big I think this game is for CU tonight. I'm looking at it as a true tipping point for the season. Win gets the Buffs to 20 and also guarantees at least a .500 record in Pac-12 play, likely putting the Buffs on the Bye line for the Pac-12 tourney (though the tiebreakers don't help the Buffs with Utah and USC right there with us).

But maybe this is bigger for more than the season. It's a program-changing game, too. Winning at UCLA, gets a huge monkey off the back against the blue blood in the conference's recruiting hotbed. It's a signal that CU can compete at the top of the conference. It's a huge game for program credibility.

Bruins favored by 5

Have no idea what to expect from this one. Do we get angry and get that crucial 20th win? Do we let the debacle at USC carry over and come out lifeless? What's UCLA's mindset? They're all but out of the running for an at-large bid at 14-12.

Have to find some wins, Buffs.

Who knows about the mental issues, they could be crucial. Aside from that, execution is the key. Have to do better at turnovers and smart offensive choices. Feeding JS more would be a great start.

Don't know who wins tonight, suspect the Bruins have the edge given past success against the Buffs.

However, I believe Buffs will leave it all on the court tonight, as will staff. Gotta think both players and staff feel miserable about letting USC game finish the way it did. Josh will likely be a huge force tonight if healthy.

We are going to learn a lot tonight about what comes next for this team. I feel good about our chances, let's see what shakes tonight.

Wish list item: I want GK to find the "Stroke" tonight, and Tad to let him flourish.

I'm recording it and will watch it if we win. Can't stand the stress.

Yaz, Fortune, Fletch, Wes, J40 starting

Tad went with the 5 who weren't turnover machines against USC (Dom & King had 12 combined).

Fortune dribbles it out of bounds.

2 turnovers in under 2 minutes. On pace to commit 50.

You'd think we could have at least put an emphasis on it for a few minutes to start. Are we just dumb? Or incapable?

TO problems continue. Scary to think Fortune is part of the 'less turnovers' lineup.

It's ridiculous. Best 3pt shooting team in the conference. Most efficient post guy in the conference. Excellent rebounding team. Good defensive team. If they got any PG play they'd be a Top 20 team right now.

Drinking game Buffs MBB 2 nite
Announcer says "tickle the twine" or "Nothin' but Nylon." Drink
Mention CU hasn't won in Pauly Pavilion. Drink
Fortune TO. Drink
J40 compared to a college version of Tim Duncan or any other NBA player. Drink.

CU turnover. Drink

Paraphrasing announcer: "Against USC, Colorado's starting guards (Collier, Talton and King)... 15 turnovers and 0 assists. That's why we're seeing a change to the starting lineup tonight."

Buffs need to wake up. This has all the makings of a lifeless, ho-hum, get our ass kicked performance at the moment. Do they not realize what's at stake?

It's a coors yellow belly night. I like sat night late games when the rest of the family is asleep and the beer is lonely.

Nevermind.

I have one scoreboard telling me it's 27-14 and one telling me 24-20. Guess I'll find out when I get home in 5 min

Miller too strong shooting. Gimme a little finesse GMFK.

Good 3 point shooting by the guards. Need to get Scott the ball more. Tory could use some help with his shot selection.
