What's the emoji? Like it much better than the sheep one people sometimes use.

That is one big high school kid!! Is he coming to spring game tomorrow..... his tweet says he is flying to Colorado?

Really? Do you think the services favor Colorado kids?
Nope, quite the opposite. I think there are so few legitimate elite players across positions in Colorado, that 3* athletes get upgraded because they dominate the competition on film.

Maybe you're right, but I think Colorado has always represented itself relatively well in the college ranks. Smaller sample size, but there have been very good football players come from the state - CU has lost out on too many, though.

Roddick looks good, either way.

Here is the write up on him from the Opening LA from Scout:
"* Another player who just does not lose many one on one reps was Ventura (Calif.) St. Bonaventure's Casey Roddick. Roddick is a massive kid, very strong and showed off a great punch. He can stun an opposing lineman right out of the gate with his punch and then finish him off once he knocks him off balance.

What was most surprising about Roddick was how quick he gets out of his stance and how light he is on his feet. We're talking about a kid who looks all of 340 pounds but plays like he's closer to 300. If he could get down to 315 pounds or so, it would be scary what he would do to people on the field. Oregon and Colorado have offered."

The kid has slow feet and too much fat. he needs to get in PAC 12 shape and up his skill set. Great recruit, but has some work to do.

I thought he had great feet for a huge human. Needs to cut 20-30 lbs, but a P5 S&C program will be able to quickly improve. Easier to work on a guy who already has size than to add 30-50 lbs as CU has been trying to do with OL recruits.

CU is now looking to play and recruit at an elite level...

Just followed 2016 recruit Terror Roberts on the tweet machine

Also followed '17 AZ OL recruit Ben Thomas who just received a CU offer.

Location is going to be the challenge here. Going to college close to home seems to be a big priority for him.

Then he will be waiting for offers from SoCal schools. Flights to Denver are under 2 hours, to Oakland about an hour. Cal is only significantly closer if travel is being done by car.

"Colorado, I love Colorado, and it's the education. The education is what's selling me. If they have the education, that's the whole deal for me. Ultimately, I want to get my degree and go into sports medicine and just help people. If they have a really good sports medicine program, then I'm sold."

"Oh! The underwater treadmill, I was not expecting that. I saw that at Colorado, and I was like, 'Dang, this is pretty cool.' Then, I looked at it at Cal, and I was like, 'Wow. This is awesome. This is really awesome,'" he said. "There were differences. With Cal, everything is brand new, and with Colorado, everything was brand new, but Cal has that slight edge on Colorado."

Hmm..

I think Cal's a bit ahead of us with sports medicine. They put a ton of square footage to that in their project.
