Sorry if I missed it, but what's the speculation on where Martell ends up. Saw he was taking visits and aTm seems to be back in the market. If he ends up out west, that has to shake things up a bit I would think.

From Rotoworld (ala ESPN):

Four-star 2017 QB Jack Sears indicated that he would like to make his commitment in July.

Sears has a lengthy list of schools he would like to visit over the next month-plus, to the point where the feasibility of trips to all of them might prove logistically impossible. The 6-foot-3, 195-pounder is looking to check in on Arizona, Colorado, Kansas State, Texas A&M, UCLA and Washington if possible. Of the 26 ESPN 300 quarterbacks for 2017, Sears is one of just four who have yet to make a commitment.

would love to see a battle between he and Lytle...but I have a feeling one of them wouldn't want to officially sign with the other on the roster.

Wish him the best of luck now that he is out of the conference.
Best case scenario. Went OOC but went to a non traditional power and most importantly a non-SEC team that could be used against the conference if he won a title at one of those schools as the one who got away.

Never thought I would see the day where UCLA and USC are striking out on all the top qb recruits.

This really isn't true. USC is pretty loaded at QB currently and has the number 1 2018 QB committed already. UCLA got the number one in the country two years ago in Rosen and followed that up by grabbing Devon Modster this past February and took Lynch as a second QB so they are in a little bit of a weird situation with Rosen having two more years to play and they have a quality guy behind him anyways.

Yes but normally they get a top 15 guy each year.

Those are gonna be some long plane flights from John Wayne to Raleigh-Durham. Mercy.
