Cal looked faster than ****

Especially DeSean Jackson. I think USC will lose either at Cal or at Oregon, possibly both.

i agree that an in conference rival is about prime to strip usc of the title. that said, they will whip the skers like they were caught red handed, thieving.

I am not sold on Cals defense. They better hope they can score more then they give up through out the year!

:woot: Go Cal. They are fun to watch.

Plus they were the final team to cover on my college football 3 team parlay !

Buffs -2.5 vs. CSU
Wisconsin -21 vs. WSU
Cal -5.5 vs. Tenn

**** the SEC and thier soft PAC-10 rants, looks pretty clear which side of the ball the best athletes were on.

Very well could be. Im hoping for some crazy goofy **** to happen. Ya never know, but most likely its going to be ugly, Cal is real good.

After having their hearts ripped out against CU, I think they are primed for a let down, and then here comes a top 15, possibly top 10 kind of team. If this is within 21 points, the rammies played well. As you said, if some crazy goofy **** happens, then maybe it's a close game. Brutal way to start the season for CSU

It will be interesting to see how they come out. Could be down after the loss, but then again if they somehow pull the upset everyone will forget the CU game.

At least Cal beat Tenn, the last thing we wanted was a pissed off Cal squad coming to the Fort. Maybe they will let their guard down a bit after winning that big game.

Hopefully they are running the sprinklers all week and letting the grass grow at Hughes.

Gott admit I loved seeing KjSU blow a lead late in the Auburn game and proceed to lose by 10. let the unraveling of that program continue. I wonder if Prince made his coaches run for that?

I have a different take on that game than you have. Ron Prince may be playing the Herb Brooks card at KSU. That won't last forever, but it can work for a couple years. If the players hate him more than anything else, then they'll succeed to spite him.

Maybe that works with your players, but you don't make your coaches run. That's just bush league at its finest.

He's going to completely implode whatever is left of that program. And I'll be laughing the whole way.

I hope you're right. But the results so far indicate that he's doing a better job than any of us think he should be doing. For KSU to even be close against Auburn on the road is a minor miracle.

Or it could be like us against UGA last year. A close loss, but a loss none the less.

:yeahthat:
For all the disturbing stuff we hear coming out of the little apple the kittys played tough and hard against a good SEC team. If the QB didn't get hurt it might have ended differently. I was left wondering that maybe it was all bull**** rumors, or he's mad science football genius.

I think you're giving Auburn way too much credit. This team isn't the same team that was really good over the last three years. The offense is bad, and its missing the #1 running back right now. Brandon Cox is a senior QB playing his third year as a starter who has regressed big time. I seriously think people giving KSU a lot of credit for keeping it close are reading too much into the game. Auburn is going to lose 4-5 games this year.

It was fun to watch. Doesn't make me feel much better about Auburn's season, but it was still fun.

Well, when the coach is that big of an asshole, what big time players are going to want to play for him? He's already fighting the uphill battle of recruiting kids to play in Manhattan. Throw in the fact that he's an asshole, and he's got little or no shot at landing big time recruits. Players talk to recruits on recruiting visits. If Prince has really gone as far off the reservation as the reports would have us believe, KjSU's own players aren't going to be a big help in recruiting when they hate their coach.

The game at fort fun could be a trap game for Cal. Cal is coming off a emotional win at home and CSU is playing it's first home game. I have the feeling that CSU has the potential to upset Cal in this game. The ingredients are certainly there.

And CSU just came off a gut wrenching emotional loss in their biggest game of the season. While it's true that anything can happen, CSU is primed to get their ass kicked on Sat. Cal is chasing a BCS bid and possibly a MNC, I think Tedford will have them more than ready.

I hope you are right but as of now, I see a major ass whipping at the hands of a team that is on a roll. Cal is on a mission and wants to prove they belong. As I see it, the ewes are in for a long day.

I think that after a loss like CSU had, most team want to get back on the field as quickly as they can to get the bad taste out of their mouth. I know when CU lost to Montana St last year, I was hoping we could play the lambs that Tuesday or Wednesday.

But even so KSU did a little better than I thought they would and am impressed that they had the lead very late in this game.

Is the SC game in Lincoln? If so, I think the Corn may have a chance. SC may be overrated this year though its hard to see how as loaded as they are with recruits the last 5 years.

Its in lincoln, if anything that will actually be a harm more than a help for the 'skers as HPC wont overlook this game like they do sometimes. I am sure husker fans will talk about the crowd but the coliseum is bigger than memorial stadium and they have beaten Arkansas and Auburn in their houses in recent years.

the asshole coach thing has worked in Manhattan before.....:wow:
