Amazing how someone can get knocked the **** out and pass the concussion protocol to play the next week. We can only assume that the official medical report is locked away in Dr. Tom's safe.

Hey Nebraska goes strictly by the rules,

as long as they get to make the rules.

Some day one of their academic all-Americans (one of them who can actually write) is going to write an expose on the inner workings of their program. It will be a national best seller but the fusker faithful will try to deny all of it.

The other option is somebody like Armstrong will sue them for the permanent damage they have done and it will all come out in court.

Meanwhile they will continue as they have for decades putting wins ahead of trivial things like academics, rape, assault, the health of players, etc.

word on local radio last Friday was it wasn't TA's head hitting the ground that knocked him out, it was how he landed on the ball. Said it was similar to a body kick to the bottom rib in MMA fights? Or, NU rigged the results, believe what you like, doesn't really affect me any. He got carried off the field twice last Saturday so there is that.... I'm sure he will be ready to go come Saturday.

With or without Armstrong, Colorado would still kick your ass. You guys well get a taste of our next QB Montez, and it won't taste very good to the fusker faithful.

Looks like the Huskers will be breaking in a RS-Freshman QB next year against the Buffs. He was highly sought after, but I like our chances with the rookie next fall!

Um, we don't play the Huskers next year. We have an absolute garbage OOC schedule. The worst I can remember.

2017 Schedule:
CSU (Neutral) - Sat, Sep 2
Texas State (Home) - Sat, Sep 9
Northern Colorado (Home) - Sat, Sep 16

that's disgusting. I agree

Thats an embarrassing OOC schedule.

But we get both UW and WSU next year and replace Stanford with Cal (probably on the road). Oregon goes off the schedule just as they're heading into a tailspin.

Did we take lessons on how to schedule from the SEC?

I think those teams were scheduled when Dr. Tom was the guest AD for a brief period.

Correct - I got ahead of myself on the 2018 game in Lincoln, then 2019 in Boulder.

Do you blame me for blocking out that OOC schedule in 2017?

I think it's a good schedule for next year. 3 games to get the defense and Montez settled in before the Pac-12 games start. Never want to see something like that again, but it's good for 2017 as we have a transition team that's got 5 conference road games & needs to keep momentum of The Rise going.

The OOC gets substantially tougher and big match ups starting in 2018. We need wins, especially next year.

I'm confused.

I saw Colorado at #8, but I didn't see Nebraska.

Buffnik, Buffnik, as long as you have been doing this, I expected you to do it right...

No way, shape or form will CU be ranked ahead of the Huskers this season. LOL! None the less, it sucks to go down in overtime to a top rated team. I'm not sure if Ohio State can be beat in their house, but it will be a great game.

Oh, and it's great to see I'm still rolling around CVilleBuff's head like marbles in a jar. Thanks for the call out. GBR!
