Is this in mop-up duty? I'd imagine he's seeing plenty for Gorman even if he is backing up Martell. Not too much competition in the Nevada leagues for a nationally ranked high school.

Not necessarily true. LV has a sizable population and has a competative HS programs, but Gorman is on a different level than the rest of the schools. Students athletes a Gorman are plus athletes, happy to see CU begin working the LV area. It's a growing talent hot bed IMO. But, I'll admit my LV bias having I lived there for a while.

Thanks. I didn't mean to dismiss all public competition in Clark County, just that it seems like the large majority of D1-ready talent magically find themselves enrolling at Gorman. I know schools like Arbor View, for example, routinely have some prospects who show up in the database. I would guess the competition is still top-heavy with mostly the usual suspects in the running to face Gorman for state. The Gaels are just unreal.

DTR would be a big time score for the buffs. Bring in some of his BG buddies and CU would be starting 2018 with a bang.

DTR + this offense:

On a side note, anyone else watching QB1: Beyond the Lights? I'm one episode behind, but this one had Martell getting his haircut by his mom and getting a mani/pedi with a teammate. As he's getting his nails polished, the apparent owner of the shop asks to take pictures with him, hopes he goes on to become a millionaire, and wants to make sure Martell likes his establishment.

The image of Martell posing for pictures while some lady polishes his nails is how I'll always think of him now.
