article sums it up pretty well: V tells MM of allegations. MM tells his boss - RG. RG then tells his boss - Phil. Phil, if anyone, is responsible, end of story.

unfortunately, there is an American tradition of offering up a scapegoat. i think MM and RG have too may big money donors and influential alumni to be made scapegoats, despite what Phil's cohorts and backers might want. i think it's important the regents got tons of emails making MM and RG's support clear.

Where are the big time, influential boosters when you need them? No way this **** would fly at any other major conference program.

This program resides in one of the most prosperous regions in the country. How dare you suggest Colorado has big donors that can step up like they do in other states.

That is my point. We're a prosperous state yet DO NOT have influential boosters. Especially ones that donate to both academics and athletics. If we do, they sure as hell don't use their influence.

Too well educated for a strong donor culture?

I know we don't know for sure, but how are we expecting today to play out? Regents meet and go over the findings..then what? Vote today on contract extension?

I think they want to play politics with this and there is no resolution. Probably assign a committee to evaluate potential responses to the findings

A new and exciting option has emerged, though, thanks to one of our new posters. Can't wait to start planning Fall roadies to British Columbia!

I saw that, very outside the box thinking. Dude is playing 3D chess for sure.

Minus points for throwing OSU and WSU out of the conference, though. Kind of a dick move to roll into a new conference and within a few years start floating plans of expansion by removal of P8 originals for Canada.
