Based on his on-the-field performance last year....his ability to multi-task could be called into question...lol. The coaching changes he made should help...still not sold on the DC...excited about Chiv as OC....could be a fun year. P12 South will be interesting...USC without Darnold....UCLA, AZ and ASU with new coaches are big unknowns...Utah will always be consistent and competitive. see maybe two wins there...
Both of which would have been better than this thread...
But to open your press conference with a special statement...
FFS. I can't believe you want to go over the Tad Boyle era again, but please feel free to compare it to the Ricardo Patton immediately proceeding it. He was much more successful than the coach he succeeded.
It is not easy to win at Colorado and CU should be grateful for Tad. Wait to see what he does with this team next year and the year following.

I wasn’t really aware of the circumstances TBH. I agree it’s MM over reacting for sure but complimenting and congratulating your colleague isn’t unusual and shouldn’t be so over analyzed like it is with this obvious troll.

But does CBI count for "post season every year"? Also unfortunately looking like they probably won't make the post season this year.
I have a hard time saying anything negative about Tad. He is head and shoulders better than any MBB coach since I began following the Buffs in 1987.
I'm not a fan fo the exclamation point. I don't like to throw them around haphazardly.
SDB would apparently be happy if MMac came out and said that Tad should be fired...and then Tad would come out and say that MMac should eat a bag of dicks...then they would fight...CU would fire both...hire the best coaches ever...win national championships this year and every year after.
Can we trade back for Waldo?

Huge difference between the two IMO-This year was supposed to be somewhat of a down year, and you could make an argument that MBB actually overachieved in conference play (given the kind of talk we were having going into and after the Oregon road trip). Have we had a down couple years? Sure, but still, I want Tad here at least long enough to where he coaches this group of freshmen while they're here.
Way more worried about MacIntyre-he needs to make a bowl this year. If he doesn't, he should go.

MM clarified his preposterous comments. Here is the quote I was able to find, "I am very embarassed about my ignorant comments. Tad does not deserve a life time deal. My true belief is that he deserves a 4-5 year deal averaging around 1.2mil per year."
We got some super delusional buffs out here but I respect the level of scrutiny to some degree

My money is on Tad!!!!......and can you imagine...say a Coach K...to go to a press conf and say Cutcliffe deserves a lifetime contact for making Duke FB relavant...never happen. MM still has a chapped ass over his contract extension delays...and the complete cluster**** that was the handling of Tumpkin debacle where MM tried to protect him rather than doing the right thing. Was faced with the same exact situation as a Naval officer....and always referred the allegations to the COC and to local authorities.

Except the recommendation that a sub .500 in conference coach being advocated to get a lifetime contract...lol. nothing to see there is right...it is absolutely a ludicrous concept.
Universities are idiots for the way they generously provide these massively long extensions to head coaches. They simply overreact to a modicum of success then grant a ridiculous extension. Does the Charlie Weiss extension at Notre Dame ring a bell? Very long term or lifetime contracts are contracts negotiated by people who are fools because they always increase the buyouts with the longer durations. Rick may regret the MM extension. we'll see...
