Official Pre-Game Thread: CU @ Nebraska, September 8, 2018 @ 1:30 MT

I get they have to have the focus for every game the same. But does he know how much this is NOT just another game to us? He can cement a legacy here beating them this year and next. Unlike Kordell.
He was what, 12 when we last played Nebraska? The only guys on the team that may care would be the ones who grew up buff fans.

That said, multiple kids have talked about Hagan being in their ear about this game.

Guess who is up next?

this started out really well, but has devolved to Mac telling the media to only write positive stories about HCMM.

All I know is that I will have zero patience for anyone in the media who criticizes Bill McCartney for going off script and maybe saying some things he'd be better off staying away from in regards to how the media should do its job. Sometimes folks have to know when to let things slide.

Probably shouldn't put him on the podium again, though. It's too much. CU needs to keep him limited to controlled interviews from very friendly media members at this point.

I get it, but critiquing a 78 year old man with Alzheimer's for going off track seems a bit much.
Huh? I'm not criticizing him for any symptom of Alzheimer's. I'm saying this theme about media treatment of the program is a bad one that is super awkward. He's not forgetting what he's saying. It is more likely he just DGAF and wanted to make a point he felt was important.

Maybe I am misinterpreting, but your comments about how he is getting off track just struck me as cold given the situation.
