Kurt Roper (QB/ Interim HC) = 2 (would have said 3 a few weeks ago but not sure who is to blame for a bit of regression from Sefo)

Klayton Adams (Co-OC/ OL) = --------------3 (if that's not clear that is a ultimate negative 3 which is off the scale)

So if a new coach kept everyone except Adams and Bernardi, you wouldn’t lose your s**t? Yikes.

I like Elliot a lot more than the rest of AB’s.

Chev has been a woeful underperformer except in recruiting where he has been outstanding. But I’ll reserve judgement until we see how he calls the game Saturday. (Was it the shackles of HCMM or is he just that bad)

Roper has been great!

As far as I’m concerned give me a new OC and a new O-line coach.

Defensive secondary has underperformed. Way to many PI calls against this group. They do not have good enough habits in the heat of the battle and I think that speaks to coaching.

Agree with sink on these.

Ultimately I want that decision to be made by the new coach. I don't want us to be hiring a guy with the "Oh by the way, you get this guy and that guy on your staff."

If we can't trust the new HC to pick his staff then we have hired the wrong guy. Ultimately the guys on the new staff have to be the ones who will work best with the new HC and compliment his system and style.

He also has to be willing, and have the authority, to replace without delay anyone who isn't getting the job done.

I'll ask the same question about the assistants that I asked about the committed recruits.

How many of these guys have major programs hoping the come available so they can hire them? My guess is that most of them end up either at the G5 level or taking a demotion in order to get new jobs.

I'd be semi ok with keeping Chev. But would prefer nobody comes back. I don't get why we have these coaching changes, then people want to keep like 80% of the staff. Mac was meh and so was his staff, why would we want to keep them?

Because people are afraid of the unknown and nobody knows the caliber of ACs that might be options for CU, depending on the HC hire.
