geezer. He is still the same hack who showed his CFB acumen by predicting CSewe would win 8-9 games last year. He's about 8 years past his time to hang it up.

Sorry, maybe my brain is a bit more addled than usual, but I have no idea what that means.
Now my ire is up about.
One, they are always overestimating the Rams. Then they kept saying how terrible the Buffs were going to be last season.
Then suddenly they are on the bandwagon.
In more general - I can't stand how they are constantly blabbing on about some kid who played a dinky high school... or some old-time player or coach or team.... ARGH! DRIVES ME NUTS!
Before every break they yell "TIME-OUT"... then start their old-rambling again.
AND IF I HAVE TO HEAR ONE MORE SHOW DEVOTED TO THE BEST QB OF ALL TIME I WILL JUMP OFF A CLIFF!
He means from the point the program was 18 months ago after losing at home to Montana State and haw far it has gone to where it is now is a miracle
I don't think that's a slam, in fact I might agree considering where we were back then. One thing about Joe, unless he's changed his stripes, he's always been a huge Buff supporter. Not so sure about "Jimmy" Armstrong, his column in the post today was less than flattering about Hawkins and CU.

I like Joe, he's a true red hater.
Joe is typically spot on!!!!!!!!! He deals in fact not emotion unlike those of you on this board whose arguement begins and ends with.... "He is old". Good point jackasses, the sky is blue and rain is wet what else you got.
Go BUffs
John Elway is overrated and Joe has accurately presented argued this for years and as time moves on his statement is proven more and more accurate.
Joe is the only one with the guts to state the obvious,
John Elway is overrated
Go BUffs
What! Hey, I love Joe, but he's dead wrong about Elway!

i think Joe is a clown. the "act" is just stupid. he's always under .500 on his handicap picks. always. and, mostly, after UT and VY won the whole thing he was a big horn guy.....now, it's back to "hating Nebraska" and CU once the tide has turned. too many allegiances for my book. and nearly almost always coinciding with whoever is winning.
i quit listening to the Fan on any kind of regular basis about a year and a half ago and haven't looked back. when i do hear it, i'm amazed how stale and repetitive it is. and how the same group of knuckleheads still have jobs. Evans, Moser, Clough, Irv and Joe, etc....no matter how they try and "package" the combinations as "the sports guys" or "hardball" or whatever cretinous marketing catch-phrase they come up to re-package the same old crap. the hilarious thing is these guys seem to think they are sports "opinion leaders" in some way.
about 4 years ago i was cleaning out my storage space and came across a bag full of unmarked black cassette tapes. i was curious what was on there, and one was about 45 minutes (one side) of an Irv and Joe show. i had to listen for about 15 minutes before i realized it was about 5 years old. the routines are all the same.
Hey, now, the only Joe Williams that I ever remember was the Joe Williams that played Football and Basketball for Dust and Dirt High School out in Dusty Old Cow Town, Colorado back in 1979. You remember him? Pretty good football player, that guy.
Also, I just wanted to remind you all so that you don't forget to come down to the liquor store today and get some Belvedere Vodka, which means beautiful to see. I'll sure be going because old Gary Plotzman owns the joint, and he was an excellent track and field star for Mullen back in the late 80's, yes he was.
