It was. Was dribbling, lost control, grabbed it with both hands, and started dribbling again. That's 4th grade double dribble.

Wow. Looked like the correct call but what a tough way to lose after the refs pretty much let them play all game long. Talk about clutch free throws by Guy.

What might get lost here is UVA had a 6-1 run over the last 7 seconds to finish the game.

No question that the foul on the three was legit-and credit to the referee who made it in that situation. No excuse for the missed call on Jerome's double dribble-you cannot under any circumstances miss that as a referee. Isn't the official who had the primary on that call a Pac 12 referee?

Plenty of times its been called when is wasn't deliberate, but accidental. He dribbled off of his own foot though so nevermind.

@Alfred91 is correct-that rule says that you have to a have a deliberate kicking motion for that violation. If you see a referee in college or lower call it that way, they're wrong.
