Guess the Attendance: Stanford

Will Montez show up to play the game of his career? Lots of reasons to do so because if CU loses this one, I think this would be the last time we see Montez as the starter at QB since the Buffs will be entering the bye week and we might as well insert a different QB for the last two games of the season if the Buffs lose this one. That game might determine whether Montez gets drafted into the NFL or not so a lot on the line for him.

Getting a win would be huge for this team going into a bye week before Washington comes to town.

Stop lol. Stevie will get drafted-he's a 6'5", 230 lb QB with a fairly good arm. He'll probably get drafted than a lot of you think he will too.

notes –
*** With Saturday’s attendance of 49,224 at Folsom Field, the Buffaloes have drawn 252,817 for five games. The last time CU averaged 50,000-plus for a season was in 2011.

The crowds have been great all year and I believe we’ll see this pay off huge in recruiting. It already has. But the crowd today, with bowl hopes hanging by a thread, the awesome Colorado fall weather and a last second win...a possible perfect storm for recruiting success. I’m excited for the future.

Folsom has averaged more than 100% of its capacity during the games this year. This is awesome, but I've seen this stat over the years in lots of places and don't understand how it could be. How does a venue exceed its ticketed capacity?

In our case student season tickets sold surpass the size of the student section.

Cool. They all squeeze together and don't sit in their assigned seats, anyway. The reason that Folsom is averaging more than a sellout so far this wacky season may be summed up in three letters, and they are M, E, and L.

Lol student tickets don't have assigned seats. Just assigned sections.
