Nope. I’ve been very selective this bowl season. It’s been a very profitable year. Don’t want to give back the year in bowl games. Spots in bowl season are in constant flux, so have only been playing when things feel right.
PS: I will continue to post nearly all of my american football plays in the CFB Gambling thread. If it’s not there, I probably didn’t bet it for any relevant amount.

Sure but not CFP games and doesn’t that play into the general theme that I’m talking about? I don’t think it’s a stretch to suggest that Utah had a major letdown against Oregon that cost them a playoff spot, and it led to quite a bit of apathy and indifference in the Alamo Bowl.
Let's see how motivated that 'bama squad is. Back in 2014, Alabama was shut out of the championship and they lost a lackluster one to Oklahoma.
I didn't think this could possibly be true, so I went back and double checked. Sure enough, every team that has lost in the Pac 12 CCG game since 2011 has lost their bowl game.
That's horrible!

Yeah, I was wondering the same thing, I forgot Tua was out though. But still, I don’t trust Harbaugh and he’s going against Saban lol so it’s not a good matchup for him. Hopefully it’s an excellent game!

Just saying pre-CFP there were plenty of examples as well. 1998 KSU is the classic example. I agree overall on Utah as well.
As far as that stat about Pac-12 Championship loser not winning a single bowl game, I think that three of the last four have lost in the Alamo Bowl is pretty relevant. Those teams dropped several bowl slots to end up at essentially a Big 12 road game.
The more relevant example is 2010 IMO. Bama destroyed Michigan State after losing out on the BCS.

With the lets do the chinese water torture game a day bowl season and still end up with two of your best match ups simultaneously on NYD. Come on, if you are going to do the bowl a day, you shouldn't have the Citrus and Outback at the same time... come on, there are only 4 bowls today.
I miss the old days... even if they did have multiple bowls on at the same time on NYD.
