Love him or not, you want to see him do well at the next level. It only helps CU if he turns out to be a credible QB as a pro.Dude must be a practice warrior
I actually don’t care about Montez at the next level. He’s a backup at best.Love him or not, you want to see him do well at the next level. It only helps CU if he turns out to be a credible QB as a pro.
And yet you’ve posted about the tweet above twice already.I actually don’t care about Montez at the next level. He’s a backup at best.
Better late than never.Wait, so he’s just now working on his footwork?
Next you’re going to tell me he’s working on his progressions.
Footwork, headwork, whatever it takes.Better late than never.![]()
I hope he's able to. Some guys just simply aren't capable of it. I'm not saying he isn't. He needs a good support staff, wherever that might be. In the draft, a lot of times, that doesn't happen. Situation will definitely matter, the rest of it is on him.Footwork, headwork, whatever it takes.
The last 7 words above say it all. I don't doubt that Montez is capable, he showed moments of brilliance, he just wasn't able to sustain those moments beyond one game, or sometimes beyond one or two things not going his way. Perhaps if he spends all his time working on his craft and operates behind a good NFL caliber line, we can see the positives accentuated. I hope for him and for the Buffs that this happens....I'm just not making any wagers and I really hope the Broncos don't draft him.I hope he's able to. Some guys just simply aren't capable of it. That would be excellent for him and for the Buffs. Our luck would be he goes on to become the greatest NFL QB ever and wins 8 Superbowl’s.
