Agree on recruiting, have no clue on offensive mind, but Sark showed up ****faced at an SC donor event. SC puts up with quite a bit of bad behavior historically and couldn’t go forward with him. That is a pretty low floor.
Sark isn't in the conversation without the belief he's sober.

This is the guy you say has inside info on the CU job search?

My buddy says it is Sark as the top target. Trying to work out contract details, there is a worry the Regents could screw it up, and apparently nobody trusts Satan and Alabama to not screw things up worse.

Bielema. He's at least had success at the P5 level. Calhoun knows nothing but the MW.
Bielema left because he thought Wisco wouldn’t spend on assistants. He also thought f’ing Arkansas was an easier way to compete for a national championship than battle the pansies in the Big 10 west and essentially have a pre punched ticket to the championship game every year. Not to mention his highly rumored bad behavior around Madison. So sure lets hire that guy.

Just looking at his coaching staff, I can see why Calhoun has been successful at Air Force. His staff is loaded with guys who have deep ties to the Academy and many have been there 5+ years. There are two guys with extensive "outside" experience.

The regents didn't have the votes to vote down the last hire, why would they this time?

You'd rather hire a guy from the junior leagues that pretty much only knows the option? I'm not saying Bielema is a good choice, but he's better than Calhoun.

pro-athletics majority in the regents. How are they going to screw anything up besides typical solve cancer BS from Kroll

UW fans weren't upset to see him go, especially when they got Peterson. Sark never got them quite where they hoped.
UW fans are too dumb to realize that Sark got their sorry asses in a position to get Peterson and continue the climb. I think we would gladly take Sark getting us back to 8-9 wins a season and so would they if they could go back in time.

What will your opinion be of them if Calhoun is the choice?

That they did a great job keeping a secret. That RG backed off from his pledge to pursue championships. That they freed up a lot of my time since I won't have to follow recruiting, just like the entire MacIntyre era. That RG is out the door within the next 12 months as he lost the spirit to fight for athletics at CU.

Man if RG surprises us all and we get some NFL coordinator we haven’t even been talking about like Dirk Koetter or Nathaniel Hackett I’m going to feel like I wasted about 1,000 hours on this site in the last week for nothing!!
