I can assure you that other CU students are under no so such obligation, based on my time at the CU Rec Center.Facility spending has gotten completely out of hand but I think too many writers generalize all programs. Cu built a player lounge with tvs and a pool table which isn’t unnecessary at all. I get having a lazy river is crazy but a lot of programs built functional facilities for their student athletes.
I also laughed out loud about player having to pick up the weight room to look good after their lift weights, was that a serious criticism ?
Yes but high school teams clean up their weight room, so a team of over 100 kids can’t pick up their ****?I can assure you that other CU students are under no so such obligation, based on my time at the CU Rec Center.
The point wasn't picking up their sh!t, it was making it pretty.Yes but high school teams clean up their weight room, so a team of over 100 kids can’t pick up their ****?
Yeah? So what? I had high school coaches that did the same thing and parents paid to play that sport lolThe point wasn't picking up their sh!t, it was making it pretty.
Re-racking your weights, and checking to make sure the team logo is lined up is the difference being pointed out. I don't take it as a serious criticism, but more of a metaphor that your job is to make the program look good, not to be a student athlete.Yes but high school teams clean up their weight room, so a team of over 100 kids can’t pick up their ****?
Yes. They can.Does anyone know if scholarship athletes can opt out without any threat to lose their scholarship?
Seeing as how that is one of their demands, I would say no.Does anyone know if scholarship athletes can opt out without any threat to lose their scholarship?

I think it’s a great lesson for these kids in accountability, discipline, attention to detail, and taking pride in their facilities.Re-racking your weights, and checking to make sure the team logo is lined up is the difference being pointed out. Stupid.I think it’s a great lesson for these kids in accountability, discipline, attention to detail, and taking pride in their facilities.
