Colorado Buffaloes v Texas Longhorns - Alamo Bowl, 29 Dec, 7pm MT - GAME THREAD

Fair. The guy seems like an asshole, but I don’t think that play warranted his ejection. Football is supposed to be a rough and edgy sport. It’s villains like that that make it much more interesting. He made a lot of plays in addition to that dumb play that hurt no one. He’s a bully. We need to be good enough to knock #0’s dick in the dirt. That should be the complaint IMO
I think what gets me is the discrepancy in calls from team to team. If that was a CU player I firmly believe the call would have stood and at minimum the late hit would have been called to begin with. I mean look at the entire production of this game, non-stop UT sideline coverage, non-stop UT talk, non-stop UT fans shown on screen. It's UT but that coverage was from the first whistle long before the game got out of hand. I guess as RG said "have to start earning respect"

That sucked. I was two hours behind on DVR. Looked like we were going to get killed. Then we make it a game. My DVR craps out. When I'm finally back to the game, the Texas backup QB apparently threw for four scores in the interim. I hate my cable.

Texas and ESPN are business partners. There was no way they weren’t going to sell the **** out of UT program. Unfortunately CUBdid very little to stand in their way.

Please let Lewis take the job and run with it. Please let Clayton be back. Please let Fauria and Olsen be ready to play next season.
Did Lewis look good in the 3rd Q? Everything I saw was meh but I missed the 3rd Q and the first half of the 4th.

This is the epitome of CU fan perspective. I don’t mean that as a knock on you....seriously. My point is you’re not wrong, it’s just the wrong complaint. If we were talented enough to compete in this game, you would have not noticed any of that.

Well, just another ok loss. Proved Las Vegas and the books wrong because they adtually thought the Buffs were better than we ended up being. Better learn to recruit. I know we were down a few players but not ,ore than UT wad so I guess that is not an excuse.

We do not have the talent on this team and we are falling further behind from a recruiting. A great recipe for future success. Let’s see where next season takes these Golden Buffalos!
But the drop off from our starters to our backups was considerably greater than for them. Depth is a nice thing to have and we don’t have it.

Thankfully I didn't drink tonight. If I had I might have ended up less sober than I like.

Man I hate it when the bed is spinning and all I want to do is sleep it off.

Been a few years since I did that on a regular basis but still hate the idea.

So much hope should be crushed one little bit at a time. Besides, we all assume Clayton is gone.
From the outside looking in, it seems like a long shot he'll do well at CU. If he wanted to come back, he basically bailed on his teammates. But it's a tough year so I'll suspend judgement. At least a tiny bit of it.

Clayton will easily find a home. Colorado should be working on getting him and Brew 1a/1b reps like UNC did with Carter and Williams.
We shall see. I think he came to CU because he was promised something from Tucker he didn't get this year, so not sure he will get that at anything other than a Kansas, but the talent is great so I could be way off.
