They aren’t ever open. Has nothing to do with anticipation. Yes, he needs to throw the ball, but they’ll just be picks or incompletions at best. I’ve got a good view. It’s worse than I’ve ever seen for nobody ever breaking open.

Re-assign as "inside receivers coach". New job is "recruit and work on slot route techniques". If he doesn't like it, he can find something else.

When it isn't working it isn't working.
If we want to have credibility with coaching candidates give them a budget that lets them get quality assistants and commit to recruiting support so they can get the talent it takes to win.
