I’m actually in Auburn this weekend for a swim meet (for the Covid thread - talk about no-mask-land). My son’s definitely hearing some interesting things in the athletic dining hall (most alluded to above). Board of Trustees met about it today I guess.
I gotta say, for that type of contract, once I achieved it I would make sure to get myself fired if I wasn't loving the job & putting up with too much bs. Especially when you consider that the stepping stone job(s) before that one almost certainly would have already made me financially independent & comfortable.
The priority of that meeting was to approve the new university president. Harsin was undoubtedly discussed though, that's for sure.
