Anybody have an update on this former 4 Star looking for immediate playing time? How did his visit go?

Per 247Sports, Ohio State transfer Lejond Cavazos took an official visit to Colorado

Mel is a by-product of the program being in shambles. Claiming he’s at all responsible is laughable IMO when considering how quickly he turned around MSU and how he was addressing our needs here.
I wouldn't necessarily call it a turnaround. MSU went to the CFP in 2015 and finished ranked #15 in 2017.

May 1 is the last day to commit to a transfer and be able to play in 2022 season.

The next week or so is expected to be nuts.
Can the CU program just put up postings on LinkedIn, during this 11th hour, that says “Looking to play immediately?! Come to the beautiful scenery of Boulder, CO, and join this promising upstart! Help build something that could take off with your talent!” Target places like Eugene, Brentwood, Tempe, SLC, Columbus, Tuscaloosa, Austin, Norman, Stillwater. ;)

He officially transferred to North Carolina. Bummer...
Haven’t been this upset about a potential recruit going to North Carolina since Wetmore lost Five-Star Katelyn Tuohy to the Wolfpack, and then the lost the national championship to them a year later.

Wetmore and company are truly holding the national standard for CU all on their own. We can’t lose too many of those recruiting battles. /s

Okay, okay. I'm feeling this.

Unclear what tampering even means in the current era of free agency…
It means things coaches do that piss other coaches off because they violate the code (i.e., recruiting a player still on a team who hasn't entered portal).

If your coach isn't doing it, he isn't trying hard enough to make his team as good as possible. And I think most fans would rather have a great program led by a sh!tty human being than the other way around.

I legitimately believe Riley himself probably didn’t speak directly with Addison. He doesn’t have to have the conversation to convey the message through players or boosters.

I legitimately believe Riley didn't call Addison. But, Mr. Addison, if you were to call Lincoln at 6pm tomorrow night at this number of a burner phone, he will be looking forward to your call.
