CU at Arizona

I thought Dorrell was for sure done last week. Who ****ing knows. This team ****ing blows. They're the ****ing worst. I wish they sucked this bad when I was a senior in high school. I would have gone somewhere else. And maybe I would have enjoyed the last twenty years. Despite Rebecca.

Anybody else hate themself and want to watch this? Same **** really. Just need to work harder and we're so young. Saw positives on offense. Not worried about job.

The company I work for has a philosophy about ****ing up, “we’ll try harder” implies that you weren’t trying hard before. You need to put something substantive in place to affect change. Good intentions don’t work.

Fully agree
Talking about combinations in position groups means you were never sure on starters, never developed 2-3 deep, and have no clue what to do now

Other than the only conference championship in the past 30 years . . .
Huh? We were designated as the home team in the 2001 title game and wore black and gold.

Pretty sure we didn't start mixing in the white pants until 2002, but my memory could be off. This might have been the first appearance.

Saliman made it clear in his interview with Brian that CU has the financial means to do whatever is best for the short and long term health of the university, athletic department and football program. It’s painfully obvious. Need to hear an announcement this evening at the latest

When ASU fired Edwards news broke around lunchtime. If Dorrell isn't gone before Broncos kickoff I'll be pissed.

I'm also encouraged by what I see with McCown.

But just how lowered is the bar when we're feeling good about a QB going 14/30 for 186 yards against the 2nd worst defense in the conference?
Seems to have a lot of tools. Maybe a little small and I’m not convinced on his arm strength. Deep balls need some work.

But new coach and a good young QB and I have hope for ‘23

He has to want to stay, though. Not sure how we get that done. The cupboard is so bare here, talent-wise.

I hope he stays too. He will be fun to watch.

what needs to happen for him to realistically want to stay here?

Will anyone stay here if we go 0-12 and there’s no change at HC?

Where will he go? By the end of the season, he will have led his team to an 0-9 record as a starter. Unless he starts looking very good, which is nearly impossible to do in this offense, being the starter at CU is likely his best option.

This. So much this.

One completion over 15 yards in the air. more than 40% of those passing yards came on the screen to Offerdahl and the swing pass to Deion.

It's clearly not all on Owen, but that game was not one that made me think the QB position is settled for the foreseeable future.

Owen is clearly not the problem of an 0-9 team. He’s been the only bright spot, with Hank, while playing as a true freshman who only came in over the summer. He will have no problem finding a better situation if he chooses to go. Frankly, we can actually say, any team in the country is a better team than we are.
