*OFFICIAL* Deion Sanders aka Coach Prime is the new CU Football Head Coach thread

I ended up playing basketball with a hairline fracture in my wrist that hurt like a motha. My dad told me to shake it off so I went on (tendons must've held it together). Years later when I had to get that arm xrayed for something else they said oh by the way your broken wrist healed up very nice.
- “Coach, I think I broke my dick.”
- “Put some mud on it and get back in there!”

Hilarious to see a "Bama" fan here trying to predict failure. Keep in mind that Saban had some failures prior to heading to Hickville.

To those bothered by Prime's introduction to the team get over it. Those guys needed a shock, what was acceptable before is no longer. Just because you were a starter or one of the more highly ranked recruits doesn't mean you get any special privileges, from here out everything will be earned. By the way the same will apply to new guys coming in so no they aren't getting less than a fair shake.

As to the contract and Prime moving on not worrying. Colorado is a bandwagon state, win and the fans and the money will follow.

We will never be financially at the top but win in a big way and the money will be there to keep him from going to mid-level programs in other conferences.

Prediction here: While we will have a huge turnover and most of our big contributors will be people who were not on the roster last season don't be surprised when a couple of the current guys step up and perform at a higher level than we expect.

Implementing high standards is going to mean that good enough will no longer be good enough. I have no doubt that some of the current players have the ability to be much better players than they have shown but the current sad state of expectations has meant they haven't pushed themselves to be what they can be.

Jeremy Bloom was just on the Fan and said that he approached RG the day KD was fired with the idea of hiring Prime. Said he got Steve Smith, Brandon Marshall, and Sean Merriman to help him reach out to Prime about the job.

Bloom was also very complimentary of RG saying he deserves all the credit as he made it al happen and closed the deal
How much eligibility he got left?

Nobody is fearing Colorado lmao. It's more just like this program is the new monkey at the circus, so we're just all waiting to see it crash and burn.

Bama must be getting worried they might lose some recruits to prime time. Trolls will be trolls.
Hell they might lose some of their starters to Coach Prime this year.

Alabama was 4th in the SEC this year because Saban is getting old and Kirby has surpassed him so Georgia is clearly the new alpha dog in the SEC.

It’s telling that one of their fans is more interested in trolling the forums of a 1-11 team than discussing their opponent in the nobody gives a **** bowl.

You guys are going to lose to TCU, Nebraska, Arizona, Oregon State, USC, Oregon, UCLA, Utah, and Washington State. Sorry, I guess you'll go 3-9 next year at best.
With our current roster sure. Let’s see what shakes out after signing day, shall we?

So Jeremy Bloom made it happen? Not Todd Saliman?

It was more about economic independence, political independence, and states rights. The Southern states just wanted to determine their own future. Obviously slavery was bad, but it would have died out on its own.

Nobody talks about the federal overreach, and the fact that Lincoln told Sherman to burn down the South. I have ancestors who fought for the Confederacy, and they were just defending their homes from the invasive aggressors.

Liberals like to misportray the cause of the war as slavery, but it was about independence.
Love me some Sherman! One of the greatest generals in US history. After he sacked Atlanta Lincoln wanted to bring him back to DC for a big parade, he said he’ll no, I’m taking the Army to Charleston and teaching them a lesson. OG bada**!

My favorite part was when they got to the Lewis hire. The fear was palpable
I like the hypocrisy on the Oregon board. All the pearl clutching around the country due to Coach Prime's speech to the team, meanwhile the Oregon board has another poster claiming don't worry about all the guys going into the portal, I have it on good authority almost all of these guys were strongly encouraged to leave.

Prime said it rough for sure,. But he also told the players he would invest in them. Once he was done trying to make them quit 😂. I am sad those players had to go through that. But sometimes you get your ass chewed in sports.

Prime is going to put the ugliness, and the greatness, of college football in front of the world. It's going to be a wild ride

I hope Prime becomes the ultimate CFB villain and nobody else wants to deal with his style

And in that meeting with the team, he said that capturing all of this in video will get the good and the bad. He knows what he’s doing.
