CU Coaching & Support Staff Moves

I'd argue that, in most cases, a bowl invite is meaningful, whereas the bowl itself is not.
Agree and disagree. The extra practices are massive. The time in fertile recruiting ground is huge. Every Pac 12 team who played in a bowl was either in Texas, California, or Vegas (which isn't hard for a recruit from SoCal to get to). The exposure of a game on ESPN is huge.

Is the game important? Not as much, but I think the key is just don't get embarrassed.

The head S&C coach? Thought it was the dude from Jackson, Georgia, etc?
The only other thing I can find is this LinkedIn post that says “a S&C coach”

Edit:
Looks like his most recent position was “Asst. AD for Sports Performance” at Clark Atlanta University (HBCU).

I also noticed Branden Reyes and Stephen Houston. Both appear to be from Purdue

He didn’t get the memo that AllBuffs has disavowed that phrase?

GA's are allowed to be on-field coaches, but can't go out recruiting. Analysts are not allowed to do either.
I thought GA's could go out recruiting, *if* they had their NCAA certification - but, when they do, they count against the limited number of recruiters.

I'm 99% sure we had GA's out recruiting during the Dec & Jan recruiting periods when micmak would take 2-3 months to backfill his ACs.

It may just be a nomenclature thing, when those GAs were out recruiting they were considered "ACs" on the NCAA's records, even though in reality, they were GA's.

a different world i rest my case GIF

This guy, calling coaches F... Boys, maybe not a good business decision. He will be tweeting out hate messages to CU in 12-24 months when he realizes Coach Prime's OL recruits are 6'5"+, 310 lbs 4 and 5 stars from Georgia, Alabama, Texas and California, he will have no in-state places for his kids to go. He will be forced to push them to Wyoming or NM State. Is there a more reactionary guy in Colorado- maybe BigBang

He seems to understand that CU will only be interested in the absolute cream for scholarship offers. He also is probably right to be frustrated with CSU if they are actively steering players away from his gym. I don't love how he handles this stuff, but it's not the first rodeo - I expect to soon see him tweeting about a great meeting with CSU coaches and complimenting their program.

Thought it was pretty cool today, Wiltfong on his YouTube show reminded people that it’s not just Coach Prime making an excellent pitch to DBs. He said that Coach Mathis’ recruiting message really resonates with a lot of recruits because he wasn’t a star recruit, and then he didn’t go to a big time college, and he was undersized so he didn’t get drafted, but he still carved out a 10 year NFL career and earned Coach Prime’s immense respect. Wiltfong isn’t the type to just say that unless he’s heard it from multiple recruits.

So many words, so little links.
