Sorry if someone posted already. Great story in the athletic:

If Bloom story is true, and no reason to believe it isn’t, I get the feeling Bloom has been serving his revenge cold after the NCAA screwed him.

He has been part of tearing them down for years.
Saw a video of Jeremy taking Shedeur skiing. Just keep it to the bunny slopes Shedeur!!

Shedeur looks like a massive upgrade at QB to me

It's MLC, he looks massive compared to the other WRs. He runs smoother than I remember on tape but his hands and certified
Shadeur will make our WRs look good. Horn, MLC, Tyson (eventually), incoming Freshmen, even guys like G. Page and Robinson's potential could actually be tapped into. It's so encouraging to have a top QB on the team.

Well, yeah, he spreads the ball around like butter but at this level, you gotta have a guy who constantly gets open if you want to be a contender.

My favorite response.
Marvin: Plays football at Georgia Southern before they’re a D1 school. Proceeds to spend the next 25 years not advancing past the local high school sports desk of a local tv channel in Macon. Still struggles with grammar and proper spelling.
Tim: Plays actual P5 football. Spends 35 years coaching at the highest levels of college and professional football. Known as one of the best TE coaches, has worked with some of the best all time and produced multiple first round picks.
I know he probably loves dropping the “I played” line, but have a little self awareness Marvin. I also love this hate so much and glad I don’t have a Twitter anymore to respond to some of these morons.

Seydou looked smooth as well. He's gonna be special. He remind me of Okonkwo from the Titans.
He gets downfield really quickly for a TE. Can make good adjustments as well.

The only thing I haven't seen from him and that was absent from his HL reel is his ability to break tackles.

Again: they are trying to weed out the guys who aren't 100% in by making them quit.
I don't really see Brew's intro as some kind of weeding out process. It was a 30 second introduction. That's just his style. He's an eccentric, high energy guy who is going to yell, and that was his approach. If it were meant to make guys quit, it would have been a whole staff vibe, not just one guy yelling.

I guess we'll see. I'll be shocked if we're seeing "sit down, stand up" stuff to that extent this time next year.

I don't think we'll see it this time next year and I also don't think a 30 second sit down, stand up intro was meant to make anyone quit. Who is quitting over being yelled at and told to stand up and sit down and told to repeat "We Comin"?

The weeding out process is going to start with the S&C program and workouts.

It's part of the process of making them quit. Start hard, set a tone, make them uncomfortable, establish authority, make it clear this is going to be damn difficult with not much fun, and that you're only going to be fitting in if you're ready to earn that by demonstrating that you're prepared to go through hell to win now.

It seems like the players under Dorrell were allowed to run amok with no consequences. That's what I took away when CP was talking with support staff about not being in good standing with a hotel they stay at because players were acting like Jerks.

I agree with you that they will be weeding guys out with a hard, uncomfortable environment, but I just don't put much weight into the idea that Brew's intro speech was designed around that. He was screaming at recruits and parents in one of the videos they put out last week. Prime has Brew do that to set the tone and then allows Sean Lewis and O'Boyle to say 5 quiet words and sit down?

Prime posted on his story a picture of him on a Helicopter in San Diego and says thank you to Lauren Sanchez, who is also Jeff Bezos' girlfriend. Feels pretty random for him to have a relationship with her unless he also has a relationship with JB for something...

It would be nice to get Jeff Bezos donor money.

My fourth grade football team had one assistant coach who had real cousin-of-the-head-coach-who-is-down-on-his-luck energy. His favorite thing was to scream at the top of his lungs during Oklahoma drills. Did I mention that we were in fourth grade?

Anyway, he used to have us do a bunch of military style call-and-response **** like what Brewster is doing. I remember when he shared with us all of the injuries that he had suffered playing football, as evidence of what you needed to sacrifice for the game.

I switched to fall soccer the next year. :D

is it likely that Sanchez and Tracey Edmonds run in the same circles?

Lauren Sanchez has a son, about 20 now. Her son's father is Tony Gonzalez. There might be a Hall of Fame connection there.
