FSU commited 7 turnovers against WFU and only scored a FG. I think the buffs defense is good enough to shut down the Noles, but it will be interesting to see if the buffs can do anything against that fast defense FSU has. I do have to say that in the 3rd meeting between the buffs and Noles in the last 6 years, this buff team has the most speed and playmakers of the '03 and '07 Buffs who lost to FSU.

I think it will be a game similar to last years CU/FSU game and the away team winning once again.

Buffs 14 Criminoles 10 and 4-0 heading to homecoming to take on Texass!!!

GO BUFFS!!!

Said this in the other thread.
This is going to be our first road game with an offense that has had way too many false starts. Hopefully the crowd doesn't show up for that game.

Either way our chances are looking really, really good given the quality of play on their side of the ball.

Buffs 17
Noles 9
Total Offense: 378 yds

WF is pretty good even though they played terrible tonight. I do think FSU might be too strong for us again....

anyways

Buffs 27-17

Let's see, the young Buffs will travel 2K miles to play in the late afternoon heat and humidity in Jax, for their first road game of the season. The knowles get 1/3 of their team back from detention.

(Gawd I hate this one....)

knowles 21
Buffs 13

(If we happen to pull this off - back to back wins against the 'neers and knowles, the rest of the b12 is gonna piss their drawers.)

fsu 28 cu 24 in a close one

If you seriously think that FSU is going to score 28 on us you have been spending too much time on huskerpedia, dude. FSU couldn't score 28 on a division I team if you gave them ten footballs to play with. Did you see the game they played against wake forest tonight?

How many FSU starters return from suspension this coming weekend?

Will the returning starters make a difference, or are they too far behind "game speed" this far into the season?

Who starts this next game? Drew Weatherford?

they are defensive starters, giving depth to an already fast unit. QB questions will shred this team, just like Weatherford vs. Xavier Lee did a couple of years ago, not sure if it will happen fast enough to affect this game.

CU 17-FSU-7

31 - 17 Buffs. Two things here, several FSU starters are supposed to return for this game and even though that should help their overall team speed, I believe they could be a little rusty. Also, because of there coaching changes, I really don't think the FSU offense has much continuity. Even though they boast two very tall wide receivers, they don't run very good routes and seem to be confused from time to time as to where there supposed to be when the ball is thrown to them.

I think they get 11 players back from suspension

On the one hand I see the Buffs dragging down about 4 interceptions
On the other I see the FSU defense in our backfield all game long

It won't be pretty and no one breaks out for a big game. I think it will be a boring game for those who love a good shootout

Ugly win for the Buffs

Buffs 13
FSU 10

This one is a toss up. We will have a tough time running our passing offense against their speed on D. Our defense will have to get pressure on the QB - something we still haven't shown we can do with consistency.

I agree it will be an ugly game. Final 17-14 (either way - I'm pulling for CU).

Man, I don't feel good about this one. FSU has the talent, they just have to put something together. I' a homer, though, so here goes it:
CU-24
FSU-20

they get eleven players back; five are starters, all defense. i do not see fsu scoring with any consistency.

buffs have got to hang on to the ball - if they can do that, the noles are cooked. which serves them right. chief osceola has hands that are uber white in comparison to the face makeup, and that wig is the worst i have seen in years.

beyond that, i think our speed will give fsu some run for their money. i am not looking for a big win, just a win.

17-14 buffs.
