CU has rejoined the Big 12 and broken college football - talking out asses continues

I've abstained from updating, but high-level donors have been informed all in the last week. First by a "program ambassador" which (to me) was only a 99% indication, but then reconfirmed with a personal call from where the buck stops at CU.

edit: and 2nd hand thru my big donor acquaintance
Do you know what their reasoning was for the move? How much detail did they go into?

Where is that? I haven't found anywhere that has good barbecue in the Bay area. I'm looking for brisket though. There used to be a place in Berkeley on San Pablo but they moved into a bar and now they suck.

well, i am glad i am going to the opener at tcu. ... might as well get my hate for our conference opponents on full throttle as soon as possible.

i am not road tripping to byu or west Virginia-- that **** ain't happening.

first one is smokin'woods bbq and 2nd one is horn bbq.

oakland has some good bbq places.

and it pairs oh so well with a nice bottle of bel glos pinot.

The west Virginia road trip is the only one I'm excited for.
if you thought albq was a smoking hot mess of trash, wait until you get to morgantown. don't drink the water, breathe the air, or touch anything skin to skin.

The hate for where I spent 3 semesters in the early 90s parting my ass off is intriguing. Lol.

Although I have not been back on that campus in 30 years, so who knows.

the only way to make it through that toxic hellscape of human misery would be to drink non-stop.

It’s easy to poke fun at the folks who say this, but there’s a little more to it. When we were in the B12, we were by far the worst traveling fanbase. In the PAC 12, we were the best traveling fanbase (maybe behind Utah, but probably pretty comparable). We will once again be the worst traveling fanbase in the B12. It’s not a huge deal, but it does lead to a perception that I’d rather we didn’t have.

There was a lot of that. Haha.

My memories of the actual campus are far less than the bar and off campus party scene....hence why I was only there 3 semesters.
