Colorado v Arizona - November 11, 12pm MT - P12N

Prime isn't an FBS or FCS level game manager. I'm struggling to call him a Pop Warner level game manager...possibly high school on a good day.

Better score than I expected but no less painful a loss. Given WSU's decline, I think CU can pull out one more win which is better than I thought prior to this game.

I'm not sure why the staff deserves the botd here. Like hank said, letting someone score isn't a decision players make, or should. I'm willing to bet they were never told to let AZ score.

Too many false starts. Too many penalties. 11, this team just doesn't have the football intelligence. Penalties aren't talent based unless you are severely mismatched phyiscally, they are generally IQ based. We need smarter players. Higher Football IQ. Harden made so many mistakes out there, he's miles more talented than Wiley and Bailey but he's mentally not ready. Defensively, there are so many guys who are dumb as bricks.

I am not used to idiotic football and that's what this team plays. The smart guys aren't good enough and the lesser IQ guys aren't ready. The coaches need to really make sure when they recruit, these players can phyiscally and MENTALLY play at this level. Stop getting one or the other. Recruit guys who can do both.

Of course they weren’t. There is zero chance they were told to let them score only to go out there 30 seconds later to work their asses off and keep him out.

It’s not that hard. Try to stop them and force a FG. If they get anywhere near the line of gain, give up.

If it were 3 and 1 or 2, maybe you don’t try to stop the first and just let them score from the get go because that is not as easy to execute.

But 3rd and 3? It’s not that hard.

Honestly, the good thing about this year is that this is one of the worst years to "suck". Every team is so damn talented in the Pac-12. If we can put up a fight every week, I'm fine with it. If we can win, even better. But our coaching staff is gonna need a few upgrades. We also will need Shedeur to be kept clean next year.
 
Staff should have signals for this. What’s more infuriating is that we had timeouts to discuss.

I literally played college sports on a scholarship. You definitely have to be aware of the rules of the game. Timeout and clock management is on the players as much as the coaches. It's a part of coaches trusting you to being with

Are you saying this staff doesn't trust the players? They brought in all but 10 of them.

Painful loss, but some of you need to chill. Go check out our games last year. This is the natural step in rebuilding. We played most of the ranked teams tough. We had chance in a couple of games. We are on the right track.
