2024 Transfer Portal News - Please Respect My Decision

I'm still sick on a Grad transfer having 3 years of eligibility. It's a new age of college football!

The 2025 season should be the last of anyone benefiting from the COVID year, right?
Mostly. We'll still have some guys who were in the 2020 class, qualified as a redshirt in a year after that, and also get granted a medical hardship waiver to extend their clock through 2026. But basically, yeah, fewer in 2024 and pretty much flushed after 2025.

What a ginormous kusterfuk. For all the attention and publicity Prime has brought to CU, this kind of stuff sickens me as a fan. It makes me wonder how long I have left as a participating fan of the game.
Saved for posterity when we are in the Big 12 CCG next year.

NFL lite, here we come.

i don't disagree with your sentiment regarding the new reality of CFB, but you have to admit, the transfer portal is making the off season much more interesting (not necessarily in a good way, but interesting nevertheless)

Year 1 of this stuff and I think it's been a more entertaining CFB calendar year - on and off the field. Stack that with players earning a more equitable compensation package from it. So far, I'd say the early returns on NIL are positive even though there are challenges and a need for some modifications to improve it.
