More interesting question our home record IMO as Hawk so far has a rather abysmal road record of 2-13 and if we want to start making any kind of noise soon, winning some road games is neccessary.

September 11th - Toledo
October 1st - West Virginia
October 10th - Texas
October 24th - Kansas State
November 14th - Iowa State
November 19th - Oklahoma State

There.

3-3, possibly 4-2 given that we don't know how WVU is going to be without White (although they still have Devine).

Wins against Toledo, ISU and KSU.

Hawk still hasn't shown that he can win on the road against a good team. He came close against UGA, but we need to keep it close against everyone on the road before I'm predicting wins on the road, especially in conference.

3-3. If we're truly taking a step forward next season then Toledo, KSU, and ISU should all be wins. Would be nice to steal one against WVU or OSU. Don't see it happening @UT.

Guarantee loss at Texas (they could win the mNC this year) and split WV and OSU (I would bet we have a better chance against WV than OSU). Both will be ESPN night games (Thursday, if I remember right).

Toledo, KSU, ISU should all be ass whippins in our favor

I wouldn't say any road game is an ass whoppin in our favor until they prove they can do that.

September 11th - Toledo -W (I don't see much difference between Toledo and MOFO, this is a win)
October 1st - West Virginia - W (I think we win this. Without White they won't give us too much trouble)
October 10th - Texas - L (I would love for us to win this game but I don't think we'll pull it out.
October 24th - Kansas State - W (I don't see how we can lose this one. Between the coaching change, no Freeman, and our revitalized offense it's hard to see a L here)
November 14th - Iowa State - W (Easy win against the whipping boy of the Big 12 North)
November 19th - Oklahoma State - L (We had a pretty good time against them last time we went to Stillwater, I know because I was there. I don't think this is our year to repeat that though.)

I see 4-2 if it all goes well and 5-1 if it goes extremely well and we´re truly on a roll late in the season. Under normal circumstances I don´t see us winning in Stillwater, but maybe ... just maybe this our season to make some noise and go on a run and when you are on a run a lot of good can happen.

Toledo should be a win and so should Iowa State (we can´t really lose 3 in a row there, can we?). KSU is hopefully a win and I feel confident we can beat WVU in Morgantown. As for Austin ... might just save the travel costs and mail them the W.

Would love to see it! If we win 4 or 5 road games, 10 wins this year is a very likely possibility.

After thinking, we should have a chance at an upset on the road. Seems we put together a good road performance every year. Be nice to start winning more of these.

'06 should have beat Georgia
'07 beat TT
'08 should have beat Nebraska

I really want to go 4-2, but 3-3 seems most realistic with wins at ISU, KSU, and Toledo, and losses to WVU, OSU, and UT. The one game I'm most on the fence about is WVU. They lose a bunch of starters and a program defining talent with Pat White, and their head coach is extremely suspect. However, they have decent talent, are at home at night and will have a jacked up home crowd wanting payback. I think we lose a close one.

I say we go 4-2 on the road this season, barring no injury bugs and crap like that. UT, unfortunately is almost a sure loss at there home but, I think we have a chance to beat OSU in there house. They are kinda hear and there sometimes.

GO BUFFS!!!!!!!!!!

4-2, losses @ Texas and Okie State. West Virginia will be tough, losing White will hurt them but not fatally as the guy coming in (can't remember his name - he threw that duck on a trick play in Boulder last year) runs well and lowers his shoulder like Tebow. But they won't be full stride when we play them.

Are there ANY guarrenteed wins????
If this Team is like the last three years. than that is a BIG No. We play hard, but we haven't been a team to beat any one up. I think we will break even.
3v3

September 11th - Toledo---------WIN
October 1st - West Virginia-------Loss
October 10th - Texas------------Loss
October 24th - Kansas State-----Loss
November 14th - Iowa State-----Win
November 19th - Oklahoma State-Win

2-4

Losses at WV,UT,OSU and either ksu or isu. Don't laugh. Our 5 wins last year...

1 point win over ksu at home, last second victory over ISU, beat wv after they missed a fg in OT, last minute victory at home to eastern washington and the win over the sheep.

3-3 is about right.

But who knows, Buffsyko knows far more about football then I do (he told me so), therefore his 2-4 prediction may be right.

I optimistically voted 4-2, but 3-3 would be decent and is probably more realistic. But anything less than 3-3 would be a disappointment.

I don't think you are far off, but a couple factors that you have to take into account:

1. WVU will be without Pat White who is THE best player in the history of their program, trust me there will be a drop off. Although I should mention I think CU probably loses this game as well.

2. The wins against ISU and KSU were during the midst of the worst injury plague this team has ever seen in over 100 years of football. Add to that that both of those programs have to break in new coaching staffs, and KSU has to replace Freeman, you have to like Colorado in both of those games on paper.

While I think 2-4 is very possible, I think 3-3 is at least as likely.

I went with 1-5.. I think there's a chance we could go 3-3 but until Hawk and company prove it, there's no reason to expect victory..

Buffs look like a 6-6 type team again this year.. Should be interesting to see who wins the QB race..

We should be able to get off to a good start, but I'm not going to get suckered in like I did last year about where we are as a program..
