Guys - By all means, voice your opinion, but keep it clean respectful please.

Having read DD's email, it was more than respectful.

The reason I am waiting is to reduce the number of f-bombs. I fully believe letters of complaint should not involve curse words.

Mine will be sent tomorrow. Maybe not until Sunday.

Re: mike.bohn@colorado.edu

Mike does respond. During Hawk's first year, I sent several emails to Mike, expressing my support. He responded to all of them.

Unfortunately, I was soooooo wrong.

Just make sure you send it before the Bronco game, otherwise your mood may be worse.

I'm not sure I can even watch them on Sunday.

This is going to be a really long football season. And it takes so damn long to get here. :sad1:

Re: mike.bohn@colorado.edu

Just sent him an email also. If Hawkins is going to be let go, the pressure needs to be overwhelming. Just making my own little contribution.

Re: mike.bohn@colorado.edu

This apparent comeback might be making the case to fire Hawkins a little tougher. I am torn. Do we lose and pile the pressure on Hawkins or do we pull out a miraculous comeback? As a Buff fan, I feel ashmed to admit that I almost dont want them to comeback and win this game. It would only prolong our agony with false hope.

Re: mike.bohn@colorado.edu

i'm drafting mine, no curse words, just calm cool demeaner,

I'm on shock and depression anyway, past anger.

He does respond to everyone. Got to think thats the best course of action to get DH out of here...at least he reads them.

He didn't respond to one of mine re: closing practices. There's no way he responds to all of them now

I edited the thread title to remove the email address so that the spam bots don't pick it up. You want him to get your legit emails, not the other ****.

Bohn's email addy is mike dot bohn at colorado dot edu.

Here's what I sent to him tonight:

Dear Mr. Bohn,

I have given some money this year and am a season ticket holder for both football and men's basketball. I won't abandon the Buffs and will continue to support the team in my conversations with friends and associates. I will continue to go to games. I will raise my young son (1 year old yesterday) as a Buffs fans. But I emailed you to express my profound disappointment in the product that Coach Hawkins is putting on the field this year. The team looked soft against CSU. That's unforgivable. Tonight against Toledo, it looked like it had quit. That's even worse. I support the kids and maintain hope that they can overcome bad coaching/leadership, but it's a thin hope.

Understanding the financial difficulties facing the AD at CU, is there any way that you can remove Coach Hawkins immediately? Failing that, can you terminate Ron Collins, Kent Riddle and Romeo Bandison? None of those coaches is performing as a coordinator or position coach and none of them is doing a thing for the program in recruiting. Please, do something to show that you care about winning. It is becoming increasingly difficult to maintain support for the program.

Sincerely,

Brian Riley
