How about Eric Kiesau for interim HC

He is very popular with the players, most likely candidate to keep both the players we have and the recruits we have on board from jumping ship.

He is enthusiastic and seems to know what he is doing both recruiting and coaching his position. Get Hawkins out of his way and he might just be a very positive surprise. He doesn't have a lot of experience on the defensive side of the ball but I think that Cabral and Brown can handle that for him, again better without having to deal with Hawkins around.

Give him a chance, see how he does, look at him at the end of the year.

If he turns out to be a good choice then he will also be relatively inexpensive balancing out some of the buyout of Hawkins and we go on with some of the good that has been established in the past couple of years, if not then we look elsewhere.

I wouldn't mind, but I think he's too young.

Bohn doesn't have the bone.... Hawk's our coach until the end of the season.

Looking at our O and you want him as HC?

Not big on bringing in a interium coach. I think it kills recruiting even worse than a coaching change. I would rather see this thing through then make a change at the end.

Then you hope you can bring in a Kelly caliber coach to save the class

Not sure about that...I would can Danny now, because it gives future recruits a promise for the future. Mister Jones? Forget about it if Danny hangs around the rest of the year.

No way in hell. I like Kiesau, but it's bad enough he's learning to be an OC on CU's dime.

I'd go with Cabral as Interim HC.

Get rid of Emperor Palpatine as our "OLB" coach and promote Sykes to the staff.

I'd also promote Brown over Collins.

Then get out of our coordinators' ways and see what happens.

Problem is I think much more with Hawk than with Kiesau. Hawk puts his finger in who plays and then limits the offense to those plays that those guys can run. We don't pass downfield because Cody can't throw it downfield and guys like Ebner and Espy can't get open downfield.

Get Hawk out of the way, stop with his stupid player groupings excuse for playing the guys who kiss up to him and Cody and I think you would see a different offense.

No way to know without doing it but I think it would help. Also eliminates the money excuse for keeping Hawk around longer than we want to.

We need a change. Squawk saves all of his energy for his speeches and press conferences, but never to the team.

We need excitable, tough, high energy. Preferably one without man-boobs... As the K-state Hawkins photo thread pointed out... Danny likes to show off his nips.
