Complete Lack of Respect for Buff Football....

OK..I live in the middle of college football hell, there is no doubt about that....especially considering the events of the last week.

But, I am about to pop a gasket with these dumb****s down here. The Buffs are deemed a "subpar" team. We are an after-thought in the college football landscape. I saw the Top 10 ESPN Big 12 moments of all-time....no mention of CU.

We had better get this ship turned around fast, or we will continue the fast slide into irrelevance...

Really? No clips from the Buffs destroying Uterus' BCS dreams in the CCG? No highlights from 62-36?

Well, let's see. espin involved in tv money for the big LoneTex conference. CU no longer loyal to the big LoneTex conference. espin does highlights. The media $ whitewash has begun.

It's sad, but true right now. Buffs need to win again to be relevant. 4 straight losing seasons and a joke of a coach have done a lot of damage to the perception of the program.

But the good news is they have the opportunity to turn it all around. Just need to start winning again.

I don't have the link....but, the fuskers are mentioned numerous times in the Top 10. Are they married now to ESPN? Don't think so.........****kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk.

It's only going to get worse.

There's a new sheriff in town and his name is Kyle Whittingham. His deputy is Jordan Wynn.

You're not going to like them.

we can thank Dan *****hole Hackins for the slide to irrelevance, cant wait for dumbass to get the boot,

Key words: Right now. Two years ago they could have concluded that KU was one of the foundations of Big XII football, based on what was happening then. Over time Colorado is still a top 25 program, still holds a national title, still has won the Big XII more recently than certain other teams that are departing the conference. Let the morons assume that CU is always going to stay where it is now. History disagrees, and so do I...

I agree. But perception can be a bitch. Recent events have everything to do with that.

It will be that much better when they are proven wrong and we bust it off in their *****.

This is all good stuff, everybody. The more people dis our program, the more Bohn and friends will realize that we NEED to get it back to where it belongs. Hawk is a lame duck anyway. The pressure is on Hawk, but it's also on Bohn right now. No way can he afford to keep Hawkins going into Pac 12 play. It's unpossible.

I agree as well...but the next couple of years are CRUCIAL, and that is why I remain pissed about the retention of the doosh in my avatar. We need to get the train back on the tracks NOW...

Are you related to MTNBuff? Or, did you attend the same English classes at CU?:lol:

The majority of my responses aren't three pages long, so what made you think the two of us are related?

Your use of the non-word "unpossible" and his classic FAIL use of "supposively" last night.....

Unpossible is a word! I saw it on the Simpsons

I also use words like "dood" and "troo" and my all time favorite "idot". Get used to it.

Did you coin the "word" "IDOT"? That original thread should be included in classic AllBuffs....

Because of the very end of the Barnett era, and what has happened under Hawkins, no one remembers the 20 years preceding 2004.

Americans have extraordinarily short attention spans. We need to get back on track, and soon.

Definitely....and "Americans" down here in BF Idaho have even shorter attention spans.....thus, my angst.....

The genesis of "idot" comes from Unleash, who merely misspelled "idiot". However, I liked the way the word looked, and I claimed the word as my own.

Not a surprise at all and just drives home the fact that Bohn needs to get rid of Hawkins and get someone in here who can win, and win within a year or two, maybe three at the most. If that person can't get it done, then on to the next guy who can. No more of this extension crap if you aren't winning big.

The thing that gets me though is all of these yahoos don't get the whole expansion thing. It isn't about what you did last year or the last few years, it is about who your University is as a whole over its lifetime.

I believe the admin, including Bensen, DiSteffano, and Bohn are committed to turning this thing around. I know most of you do not believe that. CU moved to the Pac for a myriad of reasons. But the biggest reason was athletics. So, if they were willing to go to all of this trouble for athletics, I have to believe they intend to do what it takes to improve our results. Therefore, I believe the expectations on Hawkins have now been ratcheted up several notches. No one, not Bensen, not DiStefano, and ESPECIALLY not Bohn wants to move into the Pac as the little sisters. Hawkins' leash has got to be very, very short.

for all their history, funny how college football was never played anywhere, ever before Vince Young......according Texas fan. I have a neighbor who is a "big" UT fan and he thought UT had won more NC's than anyone else in history. he just thought that must be the case, since UT is SO awesome.

Bama, USC, ND, OU, not even close according to him.

you started seeing "idot" on boards in early 00's in the someone misspelled "idiot" context and thereby making themselves the true "idot" self-reflexively. it was kind of common usage around what is now called "the blogosphere". while i'm an AB homer, i don't think it originated here.

Unleash reinvented here, in an act of inintentional self-reflexivity.

I had never seen any idots before allbuffs. I think all the idots are here. Always have been.
