Really looking forward to it! I am with the players and ready to put the losses behind us and start our winning ways again. Love the experience and leadership from our upperclassmen, something we have not had in a long time! We also have more talent than most give us credit for. This is gonna be a different team this year! GO BUFFS!!!

Wow! Well? Yeah! Umm. Yeah! I'm, umm, with ya! GO BUFFS!

Man, I didn't see this post coming. Kind of caught me off guard.

I think there is one big key that will totally change this season. O-line!

If they (and I am confident they will) gel and the talent comes through that is there, we will see some dramatic changes on the offensive side of the ball.

I would say this is the most talented and experienced O-line coming back after a losing season since 2001. Not saying we will have the same results as the '01 team, but I think the change from '09 to '10 could be similar to the change from '00 to '01.

On a side note, I will not be shocked if we have another losing season. I just feel it's time with our upperclassmen.

I am pumped to hear a whole new and improved line of bullsh*t from Hawkins. Let's see, we've gotten our horns out, cinched it up, prevented the gashers, brought our lunchpails and worked on the little things. What is next? I can't wait to find out.

shocking reply from you

I'm excited to watch football again on Saturdays and Sundays. Not real confident in either of my main teams though.

Well, one thing is for sure - get ready to see Cody. It's his last chance to dance, and Daddy is gonna fill that card.

Leash, I'm sorry to piss in your wheaties. I, too, find myself getting excited about incoming transfers, additional depth and experience on the O-line, etc. Then I am hit square in the face with the reality that our head coach is a certified moron, and all hope fades very quickly. After the CSU game last year, I lost all hope that Hawk can get it done here. He's incompetent. Until we have a new head coach, I have a hard time getting excited about the prospects for CU football. What I do look forward to is the atmosphere of gameday. Getting up, loading the car, putting the flags and magnets on the car, getting dressed, doing the tailgate, etc. That is a lot of fun and is something I never want to give up.

I think we may hear a: "We aren't who we thought we were"

I didn't think about the leadership from the upper classmen. I mean, I feel Jordan Dizon, Hypolite, Wheatley, Hugh Charles, They all solidified the team that year. Granted it was 6-7 but it was ages ahead of the last couple years teams. I think we have more talent on this roster than we did in 07

not sure i agree with the talent issue. Wheatley and Dizon are cashing NFL checks.

i'm with Carolina, but a little under, 5-7 wins sounds about right with this home schedule. not sure where that has us going forward re: Hawk.

So, you have no confidence in Dan?

I'm excited, and if the OL actually lives up to their hype, it could be abetter season than most of us thought. Lose to CSU and It will get uglier than lindsey Lohan on a meth binge.

i'm with sackman. i can't wait to wake up early and crack a beer while impersonating some player in the street. can't wait for farrand row. can't wait to fly to cali to watch the buffs with thousands of other buffs. can't wait to watch the last game between the buffs and corn in lincoln. even though we have sucked hard, there is nothing like the fall.

I'm telling you the O-line is key, and man are we talented, expereinced and full of upper class leadership there. Something we haven't had in a while.

I guess I would say Im cautiously optimistic. I have a feeling we will win more games than expected. Everything will have to fall just right for that to happen. If it doesnt, we could just as easily go 3-9 again.

that's how i felt last year. i remember seeing highflyer at a tailgate before the csu game and saying i was nervously excited. something just didn't feel right in the air. this year is going to be different!

I think if we can beat Cal or Georgia, might lead to a real good season. Id prefer Cal because we need a big road win in the worst way. The CSU game is a must in my eyes as well.

we are going to work csu all day. their only chance is if freshman phenom (who we didn't even offer) can perform. i see at least 2 ints for us.

The wildcard being our coaches, and whether they can get our guys pumped up....show them my avatar, and we should be primed for the national championship....(thanks BCS...).

They arent as experienced on the oline this year either right? I remember them having alot of starts on the oline last year.
