Ralphie Going To Cal?

The folks at the Cal board are convinced that Ralphie is making the trip. I haven't heard it confirmed anywhere. So, are the rumors true?

No, it was talked about but because Memorial Stadium is under renovation the exit Ralphie would have used to exit the field is now being used as an entrance for fans so the logistics didn't work out for an appearance.

I heard she wasn't because the stadium is under repairs and they cannot safely run her.

I heard the same. But I also heard from a friend in the AD that the PAC 10 wants Ralphie to run in every PAC 10 stadium the first time we play our new conference mates and is willing to pick up the travel expenses for getting her there.

Sounds awesome!

This is by no means a done deal, but it is on the 12 PAC wish list. It would be absolutely amazing to see Ralphie run in every one of those stadiums! I think it would really help win over a few of our new conference mates too, everybody loves that sexy bitch! If it happens, I'll be there for all 11 of those games for sure!

that would be bad ass!!!!

She is getting big and doesn't seem to be losing any of her speed. She is sure to leave our new mates in awe.

She gained 300 lbs this summer and actually has dropped about 4 seconds on her run time. She is also so powerful now that she is actually leaving holes in the turf when she takes off.

No more impressive sight in college football that the Buffalos in black and gold entering the field following Ralphie. If that doesn't get you going you need to order a coffin because you are approaching dead!

Rugged probably doesn't like her anymore. :smile2:

Oops, that was me who posted that over on Bearinsider. I thought Ralphie was coming (they had it up on the Roadbuffs site but have since taken it off). I stand corrected.

That would be great exposure and PR. For those schools in the P10 that have not seen her live it would leave them with a lasting impression.

Well, that would have been cool but there will be other years. I hope Ralphie does get to run at every Pac-12 stadium the first time around. As long as the Pac pays and everything is set up perfect then go for it!

That would be awesome if somehow Dr. Tom would let Ralphie run in Lincoln this year for our last game there, i'm assuming in some time.

Fun idea, but I think Dr snootyhead is still having nightmares from a previous encounter.
that will never happen. I cant see med student TOM ever letting her run in stinkin lincoln. plus i dont know if i would want to see her run there. the fans arnt the greatest fans in the nation as many claim. i could see them trowing things and booing her like they did for brandon drumm back in the day.

Come on, we hear that every offseason. Next thing they'll tell us is that she's had her best week of practice ever. Now, where is that sarcasm smiley....

Actually, they've simplified some things for her during the offseason. Thus the turf digging when she takes off -- she knows exactly where to go with the new slimmed down schemes.

We would have to bring so much extra sercurity with us for her. I don't think its do-able.

Easy solution to that - borrowing from CU urban legend history....

So my old man is a '70 CU grad. He told me a story of during his time there, back in the day when we played the Zoomies, the Zoomies were coming to Boulder for a game. Of course due to the Vietnam War, there was definitely no love lost between Air Force cadets and Boulder students.

Anyway, some Zoomies hatch a scheme to steal Ralphie before the game as a prank. They had learned that Ralphie was a female and was always heavily sedated to allow easier handling by the Handlers. So they think "easy day, we'll use our Zoomie training for a night op, sneak up to the corral and lead the sleepy buffalo away from her home."

Little did the Zoomies know that CU had its own counterintelligence unit that had learned of the dastardly scheme. To turn the tables, Ralphie was taken to a secret location for the evening before the game, and in her place at her normal sleeping place - sat an angry, unsedated, male buffalo waiting for the unsuspecting Zoomies to arrive.

Well, they did, and I'll leave the rest to your imagination. Picture that video of the woman filming the buffalo in Yellowstone...

Again, this is definitely from the annals of CU Urban Legend Lore - but might be a good tactic against some industrious 'Huskers if Ralphie were to ever travel to Lincoln.

That would be awesome because I was worried about them trying to steal her.

Taking Ralphie to Nebraska may be the dumbest idea in the history of dumb ideas.

Seriously, people.
