Game is at 7. Who is going and where are you going? Prob do Dark Horse before the game, will try to get to Buff Club before if I get there in time. Down to meet up at halftime as well. Buffnik, Snow, Loblaw, Scotch, anyone else?

I'm out of town this week. Only home game I'll miss this season.

As cool as Dark horse is, BeauJo's has happyhour from 4-6pm, $0.75 pints... and cheap food. Its also a little closer to Coors.

Miller Lite, and Coors

It is also from 2-6, not 4-6 for cheap beer

^^ Do you have something against the DH or do you work for BoJo's or what?

your image shows 3-6.

Read closer...

I dont have anything against Dark Horse, I am just not much of a fan, their food (other than the fries), and heh. I am a big fan of cheap beer, and $0.75 is hard to beat. Beaujos is also closer (big advantage in cold weather).

Randomly, this past fall I was in Dark Horse one monday, and the entire Men's Basketball team was there. I thought it was cool, my wife thought I was a creeper

Can't make it tomorrow. :sad1: Should make all the conference games, but can only make a handful of the non-conf.

Beau Jo's does sound good for a game sometime, although Coors Light and Miller Light is teh suck.... even for $0.75. :smile2:

ya... hazed and infused monsters for 3 or 4 bucks >>> .75c coors.

Well I'm down to give BoJo's a try before the game. That cool with you, Snow? I'll try to get to Boulder by 5. Maybe earlier.

+2 to the game, I also am in support of 75 cent beer. I can't believe I didn't know about that. :)

Cool. BeauJo's at 5. I'll be the tall skinny guy in a white Buffs polo, blue jeans, and a black jacket. Come say hi.

Snow and I got there a little late. Tractor, it was nice to meet you and thanks for coming up and introducing yourself. Their computer clock is all ****ed up so we got screwed outta .75 beer at the last minute. .75 beer is a nice deal, but we enjoy the DH better for pregames, so we'll do that the rest of the games.

Game was good, we blew out a team we were supposed to blow out. Alec was last of main players to come in off the bench and he was on fire. Inside presence is going to be a problem all year. Really don't see this team as good enough for the tournament (the real one), but hopefully they prove me wrong. Needed to win at least at UGA or SF. Not an easy two game road trip this early in the season for a brand new coach, though. If we want a chance, we'll have to win out the non-con or at least have only one more loss along with a better-than-expected con record.

Crowd was about what I expected for such a ****ty opponent during fall break after two straight losses, but the people who missed it sure missed some awesome plays i.e. dunks.

Boyle was playing tricks with the starting lineup. He benched both Higgins (who had started 98 straight) and Burks (who was coming off a career-best 29).

These types of shenanigans make me really nervous, and smack of a former ex-football coach in Boulder...

i didn't see this game or the SF tilt, and while i like the idea of making a statement about D....there is a kind of DS feel to playing mind-games with your two best guys (who are denizens of the previous coach) this early in the tenure. it's a gamble--not in terms of the scoreboard, Alcorn State sucks...but, where these guys are at heading into finals, the OOC schedule and December break. bottom line is AB and CH are going to be the best two players on the court in more than half of the games you play. dead drop honest true. part of which makes the SF game so frustrating, to me at least. make or break the season in conference play....and the "20 win" thing is purely cosmetic at this point but you can't, cannot, head into conference with 7 or 8 wins OOC. has to be more. best case scenario is about 9 wins in conference....not 12.

gamble sure worked from the looks of things. both higgins and burks made defensive statements tonight.

hard to know.... Alcorn State is awful. classic OOC rent-a-team with a 250+ rpi. they don't play a home game until Jan. 2.

they've lost to:

ATM by 32
Houston by 20
Purdue by 55

not just talking about the point differential. The effort was very very obvious from both of them.

glad to hear it, i didn't see the game. just saying guarding Alcorn State has been done before in big way. on it's own, defending A State isn't making me a believer or that Tad's strategy has long term success. not saying it doesn't either.

I don't think we should read anything into this win either way, other than we got the W. They beat a bad team by 40 in Boulder. Probably should just leave it at that.

3 big games coming up in the next 2 weeks: @Harvard on Sunday(only because it's a road game), and both Oregon State(12/4) and CSU(12/8) in Boulder. They need to take care of business in these games, and blowout the other 3 cupcakes on the schedule before we head to Vegas to play New Mexico.
