NIT Roll Call

I was going to, but boss wont let me off... Instead I will have to find the most happening place to watch it here in boulder

I'm heavily debating it.....being in the middle of the week kind of sucks and difficult to come in for the Tuesday game....but if I could get a guarantee they win on Tuesday, would 100% book a flight to be there for the championship game on Thursday.

Flights are reasonable a week in advance....but trying to book a flight tuesday night after they win to be there for Thursday will usually cost a pretty penny

just got back from Boston and it was freezing cold and I had the longest flight back yesterday due to the weather. 2 hour delay getting on plane, plus an extra hour of flight time going around a storm. I think I'm gonna sit this one out.

I can't afford it, but it's so tempting. Get to NY, get a chance to cheer Chauncey, boo Melo and then cheer the Buffs on? Sounds like an ideal few days to me.

Well, I live in NYC so I'm down. Already have my tix for Tuesday but on Thursday I'll be on my way to Denver of all places.

Looked at it, but not going to happen. Mid-week too tough.

I'll just have to save what would have been airfare for next year's NCAA regional round!

Anyone know what the team hotel is going to be? I know that means a lot to them when they see fans have traveled to support them.

Manhattan. West Harlem, more precise. You have hotel yet?

I'm staying at the Sheraton in Tribeca this weekend. Visiting family in Chelsea. Working in Whippany NJ during the week and will drive in or take the train for the games.

So we found out yesterday that they are indeed going to bring a band and that we get to fly out there on Sunday and stay until Thursday night. I'm not sure if I can go though. There are a lot of variables that I have to sort out but hopefully things end up working out.

That will be cool. Times Square is nice now. Back when I lived in NJ and went into the city a lot, it was dominated by porn shops.

Should be nice to get back to your favorite porn shops. "See that stain? That's me! No literally, that's my DNA!"

That's awesome - hope you can make it. Playing in MSG would be amazing - either on the court or on the sidelines. You guys (& girls) have been amazing all season so it's great that you get rewarded for helping rock the CEC. I sit in section 18 so I definitely have felt the enthusiasm from the student section & band at the games.

I hope you can make it, dude. Basketball trips are much better for the band than bowl trips, and getting to spend a week on the house in NYC sounds fantastic.

Btw, if you guys end up needing an extra tuba, be sure to let me know :)

I have never played a tuba, but would practice the rest of the week for this trip.

You get your tix though MSG or CU ticket office ?

MSG since I could waltz my ***** over there. I actually got them after the Buffs beat TexSo. I've gone to the NIT four before and always had fun so was ready to go regardless of CU's status.

But being there in Buff gear will make it allsome!

It would be way cooler if they actually gave us enough per diem to survive in NYC. The amount is a bit low this time. We actually got more in KC.

We need to find a bar nearby and have a few before paying MSG prices

Absolutely. Bars in the area generally, bite but there are a couple that do in a pinch. Be nice to finally meet some ABers in some form other than virtual.
