2013 MBB Recruit Profile Index
2014 MBB Recruit Profile Index

Starting with Gabe York, I'm going to start building the 2012 CU prospect profile database. We have a number of offers out already.

As has been mentioned in other threads, CU is expected to have 4 scholarship openings in the 2012 class.

Graduating seniors: Carlon Brown, Austin Dufault, Trey Eckloff, Nate Tomlinson

Would love to get everyone's thoughts on this format for the Index.

I am going to start working on editing the Football Index and wanted to get feedback before I did.

the only thing id change is bold all the commitments to any school but make colorado a size or 2 bigger?

I like it nik. Good way too keep things organized. I'm a fan of spreadsheets as long as they are easy to read and this one is. Maybe another column for interest levels or scholarships? Is there enough width to add?

Maybe have a notes column on the side for things like ESPN U100 or Rivals 150.

That's a good idea and I wanted to do that. Would have been nice to say things like if CU was in a Top 5, if there was an Official or Unofficial Visit planned or made, etc. Unfortunately, there isn't room for that without messing up the framing. We'll have to keep that stuff just in the actual profiles that are linked from the index.

Welcome to the site. Always nice to see someone making their first post in a hoops forum. We're really seeing growth in CU hoops these days.

Do you know how to do that? I didn't see anything for changing border weight.

If you are using EXCEL start at the home tab, click on format cells, then when the menu comes up go to the boarders tab ... there will be a style box there for you to change the weight

Ya , it's easy in excel. Not so easy with allbuffs version

It's embedded programming in the vBulletin system we're using. New upgrade (accessed by choosing "Go Advanced" instead of "Post Quick Reply" when you're posting). If I do an Excel or Word table and paste it here, it would show up as a small table that you wouldn't be able to read. Then, you'd have to click on it to open it and I don't think the linking would work. That's why I never did tables on this site before now. Hopefully vBulletin will see that the new tables feature is popular and they'll work on some advances for the next round of upgrades.

looks like there is no option. Calling DIO!!

At the risk of causing more trouble than I'm worth, what about listing the players in alphabetical order instead of by position? Position is kind of subjective and with CU becoming more and more active in recruiting, it might make things a little easier to look over.

I don't mind. I considered it both ways. If some more people weigh in that they'd like to see it strictly alphabetical, I'll change it.

Prefer by position, then alphabetical. Plus you can always cmd/ctrl F if you are looking for someone specific.

Switched it to alphabetical. I like it better.

While I was at it, I edited Wes Gordon's info so that he's now listed as a Power Forward.

Now that visits are starting to come out, I figured we should get this up.

Nice work, Goose.

Hopefully we can get Scott and Gordon up for when these other guys are coming to help influence them.

Moved the visit thread into this one. It's now part of the master table.
