i bet texass could keep the sooners in the boat if the b12 added some teams and if everyone then agreed to stick together. sure texass would probably still need to make some network concessions to ou, but they are going to have to make some concessions if they move conferences, too, probably.
hypothetically, what if they added boise state, byu, and san diego state to get back to 12 teams. they'd add the socal market (take THAT, pac12) to a small extent, and pickup a winner (bsu), and add another tv market (byu) (take THAT, part 2, pac 12).
or, maybe they could even pull some big least or acc teams.
