I have seen other places on the internet, including one from someone claiming to be her mother, that say that Jamee is now 6'4", not 6'2".

From trifecta basketball:

Jamee Swan (AZ12): 6'2 forward, Marana high, Tucson, AZ. Very energetic small forward that provides huge rebounding detail for her team. Jamee has a nose for the ball, goes after it hard and pulls it in strong. This is not a girl you should have to remind to rebound. It is what she does. She has a much improved outside shot. She can be safe with the dribble, not going to make a bunch of plays with it but can handle it in a straight line, enough to help in the back court if needed. Pretty good shot blocker. Great leadership. Good talker on the floor, instructs, motivates, rallies team. Plays a little tight offensively, can learn to be a more effective driver, create own shot. Not real offensive minded.

Nice find Jeb. I was wondering about whether / when she was takng her official visit.

Correction: two weeks ago, which is when my family's nighttime walk on campus accidentally interfered with what appeared to be a WBB game of capture the flag. Looked like a good time. Except the part where our dog barked at Chucky and Arielle.

Per HoopGurlz, Jamee Swan has cut her list from 7 down to 4 and we are still in it. Her 4 are : Colorado, Oregon, Arizona, and Oklahoma. She has dropped Arizona State, Cal and USC. She has a family connection to Oklahoma.

Rep to both of you. She'd be a great addition. I'd love it if we could grab both her and Corral. I believe that would leave us still with two more scholarships, does anyone know for sure?

EDIT - I need to spread some rep around for Jeb. Can someone hit him for me? Although everyone really should have repped both Jeb AND BeBe by now...

Appreciate it, thanks.

About scholarships... For 2012-13, we'll lose Seabrook but have 10 returners + Huggins + Weston, leaving 3 more scholarships. So getting Swan and Corral would leave 1. By my count.

You're right. I suck at math.

Sounds like this is Lappe's type of player. High energy, attacks the glass and defends.

We got the #38 recruit in the nation, the #63 recruit in the nation, and a PG who was apparently being recruited by some decent women's programs who could be pretty underrated. I'd love it if we could add Corral to the group too.

Lappe apparently got tired of Boyle getting all the props for being a great recruiter and is stealing the thunder from him!

Alright Coach Lappe!!! (and your amazing assistant coaches!!!) Welcome to CU Jamee!!!

This was awesome news to find on a Friday Afternoon. This is an outstanding class with Huggins, Swan, and Weston. Come on Heather Corral. Come join the party. My love of CU athletics always starts with the women's basketball team.

Someone needs to update our newest commit's profile. She is actually 6' 3.5" without shoes. I know Goose keeps up w/ updating the WBB side (much appreciated), but OU has a pretty active/info filled board. Check out the thread on our newest Buff.

Deedee "Momma" Swan confirmed the actual height of her daughter. Google has become my go to site for everything I am curious about.

Once again, Welcome Jamee!!! Can't wait to see you in Black & Gold!

Thanks MO. Site is bookmarked and rep is delivered. I'll update her profile right now.

Hey Goose. I'm not sure what a rep is (I've only made 9 posts), but the credit goes to Bebe. It's mentioned in the second post of this thread.

Whenever someone makes a good post, or a really funny joke about Nebraska, you can give the poster "rep" by clicking on the star underneath their name. The more green dots under someone's name, the more "rep" they have. Red dots? Well, they're a Nebraska fan probably.

And I rep BeBe pretty regularly, so she should be ok.

It's the star symbol on the bottom part of a post. You click that, make sure to choose "add to reputation", type a little message, and the person whose post you liked gets a bump to his/her reputation score. You can practice on mine.

Great, now the "visitors found this page by searching for" part on this page will soon have "rep whore" added to it.

Very happy about this commit! Welcome Jamee!

And WOW between Lappe and Boyle will get the better recruiting class?!?!?! I don't know but I sure like what I see in both cases!!!

Didn't the previous coach recruit pretty well early on? Or are these players even better?

Honestly, at this point, I think Lappe has him beat. Now if Boyle can counter with Wallace AND Johnson, he'll probably end up ahead, but Lappe has two top 65 players and hopefully will add Corral who it sounds like could be a real steal.

I'm going to let smarter people than I answer this, but I'm not sure KMM ever recruited this well.
