'06 CA ATH Jimmy Smith (Signed to Colorado)

Smith redshirted in 2006, played every game on special teams in 2007, started 3 games to end the year in 2008, and was a full-year starter in 2009... proving to be a shutdown corner and earning All Big 12 honors. He finished 2nd on the team in pass breakups and tied for 1st in interceptions. Smith considered entering the NFL draft a year early but ultimately decided to return to CU for his senior season. Smith is projected as a high NFL draft pick next year.
