Wasn't recruited out of HS (1A program in Louisiana). Started as a true frosh at Independence, and netted 30 tackles (17 solo), 3 INTs and 6 pass breakups playing both CB and FS. Sounds like he's committed to all the "student of the game" stuff you need to succeed at the P5 level. Not sure which coach(es) is recruiting for CU.

Again love the size being recruited in the secondary. It helps when they are athletic too. Having that size helps with 50/50 balls. Receivers look like tight ends anymore and can run too. Pretty smart move imho.

I'm excited about Abrams. I trust our coaches on bring in guys who fit the athletic blueprint for the secondary and then teach them next level technique. After seeing how good Spoon got after a year of coaching here, I'm all about finding athletes with the right attitude.

“Colorado is honestly great, a lot different than I thought. I didn't know it was going to be that nice out there,” said the 6-foot-3, 180-pound cornerback from Independence Community College. “How nice the campus is and how nice all the people around it are stood out. There are good people there, from the coaching staff to the administration.

“I forget how to pronounce his name but I got to hang out with 'Fo' (senior safety Afolabi Laguda) and he told me about how it really is to play there. He was telling me that they workout in the morning instead of during the day, but he said it is a really good place to be.”

Again love the length being recruited, Mac's vision is pretty evident about what he wants in the secondary. Can't say I'm opposed to it.

Want. Ahkello 2.0

Hope this guy is taking a good look at how Spoon's decision to come here turned out.

MM has consistently shown that he can take raw talent and turn it into what the NFL wants to see. And they get a great experience in the time they are here.

You aren't lying, my brother is still asking about Chido, big Dallas fan. I'm like damnit dude, I've already told you everything I know about him. He's excited about him, I know that.
