The Dec transfer status is confirmed? We need this guy. I almost say take it off the internet until we get him signed!

If we got him, is he in the mix to start? Is there any credence to the idea that Beau moves to LB?
This is year three for Beau, have to think it's do or die now. That being said there are nothing but unknowns at RB. Boyd (if he commits), Bisharat and Fontenot have to be the favorites.

Give me that size and speed combo all day. Texas backfield (Montez and Boyd), Texas receivers, and some Texas OL in the pipeline. That's what I like to see!

If that's a commit I'm happy.

RB is a position where a talented kid like this can step in and contribute right away. The majority of what he has to learn in the offense is simpler than most other positions and coordination with other players comes quicker.

The opportunity is there waiting for him. This isn't some guy who is going to need a year or two in the weight room and the system to step in and play at a high level.

One report I saw said he can't sign until February (but is a 2018 recruit). Knowing us, other teams will jump in now that we have.
They must have a rule that he must graduate to sign, and that those under that rule that are set to graduate in spring, can't sign until spring. I'm not familiar with the signing rules with this new early signing period, nor completely confident of JuCo transfer rules for original full qualifiers who failed to meet NCAA standards while enrolled (aTm).

Yes we need a JUCO RB...not sold on Bisch @ RB.
Agreed. Looking at the RB depth chart drives it home. Excited about Fontenot, Bisharat is tbd. Get Boyd and redshirt the freshman, Lee and Evans add some depth. All of the sudden RB doesn’t look terrible.

Boyd is a must. If he doesn't sign with cu, you can forget about redshirting any runningbacks. Unless bisharat hasn't been redshirted!

Get Boyd AND play at least one true freshman. Redshirting RBs is not necessary.

Class balance at that position is completely overrated.
