2012-13 Colorado Basketball Game thread: Colorado @ Cal The Patchuoli Fight

I wouldn't want to be on that plane coming home. This is the worst defensive effort all year and the offense is even worse. I don't know how many layups we've missed, but it's two more than it was a moment ago.

Makes that win at Stanford huge. we all would be happy with a split. Just not our day and there are benefits to a fifth seed.

There are no benefits to a 5 seed. A junk game does nothing other than risk a devastating loss. Nothing positive comes from it.

We look absolutely awful shooting the ball. Not one guy is playing good on offense.

David Kravish looks like I wish he died in the holocaust.

If we split these last 2 home games and then drop our first game of the conference tournament to Utah/WSU/OSU things could be a little dicey.

Well - tad needs to eventually teach this team offense.

Another air ball by Ski. I don't want to hear how he's so much of a better player than Chen or almost anyone else. He certainly hasn't shown it over the last 5-6 weeks.

Cal defense was good and had something to do with this, but there were way way too many open looks missed horribly. When was the last time Spencer couldn't be counted on?

This team is in desperate need of some big bodies who block out and can go up strong.
Getting the guys we have to play big would be a start. It's not like Kravish and Solomon are big bodies who we don't match up with. We just didn't put up a fight.

An extra win although it may hurt the RPI, already having played a game which gets you familiar with the court and being put in the right mindset. Say, ski has a good game like Carlon did against Utah last year it puts them right back on track and could become hot throughout the tournament. Also, you can ride momentum. There are some positives, but obviously there are negatives.

It tires us out and offers nothing positive. Padding the record might look nice, but the Committee isn't going to go "oh, they won a game in Vegas against Wazzu, let's bump them up a seed"

Worst performance of the season. Boyle did not have this mentally prepared to play - Cal wanted it more.
