2017-2018 Bowl Season

Is there a new Hollywood based in the south that is producing propoganda war films or something?

Kind of realizing what a circle jerk the season was for southeastern teams. Alabama (preseason #1), Auburn (#12), Clemson (#5), Florida (#16), Florida State (#3), Georgia (#15) and LSU (#13) all played each other and nobody else (except for UGA going to Notre Dame and winning by 1). Seems to me if 3 of those teams are going to end up in the Playoff that they should have to show a lot more against teams from outside their region. Kind of a self-fulfilling prophecy to rank them all in the Top 16 and then end up with the 3 that have the best seasons -- including a Clemson team that lost to Syracuse.

btw, the fact that UGA actually played Notre Dame on the road is what has me rooting for them tonight.

So just like every other season.

Jalen Hurts is basically Gino Torretta.

Gino was an excellent system QB for Miami that did what was asked of him within their system, didn't make many mistakes, and allowed the overwhelming talent on the Canes roster to dominate most games. Gino won a Heisman trophy for it while barely completing over 50% of his passes. I expect that Hurts will also be handed a Heisman in either 2018 or 2019.
