The three-day tournament features the top six finishers in the MPSF's regular-season standings. Undefeated for the second consecutive season, the eighth-ranked Women of Troy (8-0) grabbed the top seed. No. 6-ranked Colorado finished 7-1 in second place and holds the second seed. Both USC and Colorado receive first-round byes.

Third-seeded Stanford (6-2) suffered its only two losses to the Trojans and the Buffaloes. Oregon (5-3) is the fourth seed and is followed by fifth-seeded San Diego State (3-5) and sixth-seeded California (3-5). SDSU defeated Cal in the teams' head-to-head meeting to take the seeding tiebreaker.

Quarterfinal games are set for noon and 4 p.m. PT on Thursday (April 27). In the first game (noon), No. 3 Stanford takes on No. 6 California. The winner will advance to take on No. 2 Colorado in one semifinal game. In the second quarterfinal, No. 4 Oregon will play No. 5 San Diego State at 4 p.m. The winner will move on to face No. 1 USC in the semifinals.

USC will play in the first semifinal game at noon PT on Friday (April 28). Colorado plays in the second at 4 p.m. The winners of each of those games will move on to play in the championship game set for 1 p.m. PT on Sunday, April 30.

Note- looking at host USC's schedule (http://www.usctrojans.com/sports/w-lacros/sched/usc-w-lacros-sched.html), looks like only premium ($/ pay) video will be available for all the games (through FloPro). Bummer for fans, most of whom I assume won't want to pay either of the 2 options (1 month for $20 or 1 year for $150) for just this tournament.
(Assume the MPSF conference must have a contract with FloPro.?. One more reason to be glad the Pac will have its own lacrosse conference next season.)

Also, as this point there isn't a link showing in the schedule for live stats for the Buff's 4:00 Friday game, although assume/ hope one will pop up before game-time. (Although, at least CU lacrosse's twitter is usually great with updates, anyways, so that will still be an option.)

Stanford beat Cal 19-5 and is the next opponent for the Buffs. Also, there appears to be a link for the live stats on the schedule page

Yep- with Stanford only beating Cal by 3 in the regular season, looks like they're peaking now, and the Buffs will need to bring the "A" game later today. Also, assume with the lopsided score, they were able to give their starters a few less minutes of playing time, so they might be fresher than anticipated today.

This is the game that cements a berth in the NCAA tourney. Biggest in program history.

Killed the penalty. Had about 5 minutes of nothing, then Furd answered

CU with the big answer with 8 seconds left in the half!

Will be tied at the break.

Finally back on the board. This one is going to come down to the end and maybe who has the last possession.
