2017 Season Hype/Countdown Thread

Meh. When I was 19, girls like that would've told me to get lost, not realizing what an absolute rich hunk I'd become. Or something like that. Hey, at least I have a nice house in the burbs. The guys they marry will probably become abusive meth heads.

So, they moved to Nebraska?

Word is that the bigger bump was on single game tix and flex packs.
To be somewhat expected, I think. Last year got people interested enough to buy some tickets this year. This year will get them hooked. Look for a big bump in season tickets next year.

That's what I call my abs. They're extremely flexible.

Interesting stuff here. 538 did an analysis of what losing starters means to a team's win total. Findings relevant to us:

On offense:
Using Steele’s data,2 I ran a regression and found that every additional starter lost on offense shaves about one-fifth of a win off of a team’s record — and that’s if none of those starters played quarterback. Losing a starting QB costs a team about three-fifths of a win per season.
I'm still figuring it all out, but looks like we can expect to be down 1-2 wins against an average schedule compared to your average team.
