2018-2019 Coaching Carousel..

Wow, Houston is going all in and probably knows that the next expansion/re-alignment is coming. I would love to play a game in Houston every other year without a doubt! Creates our own recruiting trips and visits to the heart of one our best areas.
Would be a great TV game.

Houston and Georgia Tech scheduled in 2025 and 2026.

My guess? The PTB want more O. Hiring Applewhite gets them the magic Briles playbook.

i do think a magic Briles playbook exists but i don't think Major has access. certainly wasn't able to show it at UH. according to horn boards, Major brought in Kendall to run Major's un-runnable offense. nothing about Diaz or Applewhite would have me excited as a UM fan.....but, then again, i think Miami is overrated badly anytime they win more than 6 games.

And creates a new Power-5 recruiting rival in Houston with a hometown advantage. No thanks.

kelvin sampson UH hoops is undefeated, too. kelvin might be a cheater but so is bruce pearl and the way it goes these days. rick barnes is a cheater...and he's got Tennessee going.

anyway, point is.....UH is BIG buying in. i don't like them for the Pac though.

i guess.

Exactly. His track record does not indicate anything special.
Eh I would say only being able to muster 14 points as OC of a Nick Saban led squad, even in Saban's first year, against a Louisiana-Monroe team is pretty damn special to me.
